hi ! i haven’t been online for a while, and I thought I’d make a post just to let people know i’m okay. i started full-time education again which takes up a large potion of my time and energy, and as i learn to manage better this account becomes more of a chore than a comfort. i never want that to happen so i think it might be time to give this account a rest. i probably won’t delete but here’s me officially saying i won’t be active, and thank you all for supporting me through a bad time and making this community such an nice place <3

it can be hard to remember that people aren’t always on the same step to recovery as you. the path is different for everyone so we have to be patient with one another. that being said, if it becomes clear someone has no intention to even get on that road you are under no obligation to keep them in your life or remain a part of their support system if it is seriously hindering your own mental health.

i was (i guess) in love with someone for so long; i was stalking their twitter, i was daydreaming about them, i was always thinking about them in every situation and every moment and it was almost like i was addicted to the feeling of having feelings for that person and a month ago my feelings just vanished over night and now i feel like i'm dead or in a coma, i feel grey and i am extreamly bored and everything is so uninteresting and not even music moves something in me. i dont know what to do.

I’m sorry, attachments are really rough. I don’t know if I can give you an answer that will definitely work for you because everyone is different, but trying to take up hobbies or pursuing things that previously interested you could pay off in the long term. Build a routine and stick to it and hopefully the numbness will ease soon. If you have access to professional help, it might be worth talking to someone about options and they could be able to help more than I can. <3

Idk if you noticed but some of the posts you reblog are from an OP that seems to think narcicistic abuse is a thing, but it just seems to worsen the stigma against people with NPD. Idk its just weird to see posts by you blocked because the OP tagged it as narc abuse

hi, i just started seeing a therapist because i think i may have bpd (based off my reading, which i know may be inaccurate but i wholeheartedly feel understood reading about it). how do i go about actually getting diagnosed? is it a longer process than i think? i don't know how to accurately share all my symptoms and anxieties and i cant tell if my therapist knows what's wrong with me

Hey, I can’t exactly say what the process will be where you are but it might be helpful to write down your experiences! You can make it in creative ways like diagrams or flow charts and it could either be a good thing to give to your therapist or a way to make sense of it all so you can bring it up with them. You could ask an open question, such as ‘Have you had any thoughts about diagnosis?’ and see where it goes from there. I hope this helps and sorry I can’t be more specific :)

I get very jealous when my fp hangs out with other people and I know I shouldn’t be, is there anything I can do to deal with this kind of jealousy?

1 - I’m so sorry that I took a while to answer this, I’ve been doing badly and I wanted to wait till I felt better so I didn’t half ass the answer.2 - I get this too, it’s hard and I’m sorry. Try to remind yourself that the fact that they have other friends doesn’t mean they love you any less!! If they’re out and you’re seeing pictures on social media, try and put your phone/ laptop away or at least avoid the sites for a while and do something else instead. Distraction can be a great tool if you find something that occupies you, so try different things and see what helps. Also, if you think they’d react in a helpful way, there’s the possibility of bringing it up with them? They might appreciate your honesty and be able to reassure you from time to time if you can’t rationalise it in your head. Best of luck x
