Update from my sister:

It has been amazing to see names I don't even know want to help an Etta. Her consult is next Thursday and we'll go from there. Right now, we're looking at probably a CT and rhinoscopy. The estimated cost is around $6k for the testing. This testing is important in diagnosing what exactly is going on. Her vet thinks it may be more nefarious, but that we caught it earlier and can get mitigating treatment. I'm hoping it's something simple and easy that won't need any further treatment, but we won't know until testing.

I'm trying my best to help them in this hard time with drama, construction, and now weather as well

I had my last birthday party here (hobbit themed), and I plan on having my next one there as well (fancy high tea party) They do so much more than coffee and other drinks.

The Ridge offers bought cookies and muffins and has an ice cream cabinet.

Mudlark MAKES almost all of their pastries. They make scones and breads (pumpkin eggnog was my jam. As is lavender), they do the fancy cookies for parties and showers, sandwiches, family recipe casseroles and soups and chicken/pasta salads.

My stepmom has put her heart and soul into this place and I wish I could take all of you here to show you firsthand. Best I can do is this video right before their grand opening and one that was a bit of partnership with someone who helped them fix the place up.

Having ADHD is so fun because sometimes youre looking for something that you use regularly and definitely put away in a smart and reasonable place and you have absolutely 0 hope of remembering where and finding it. And then other times ur like "hmm I need a some kind of small pointed object. I feel like i remember seeing a paperclip under the left couch cushion a month ago, i wonder if its still there" and it is

"wait but if u saw the paperclip why would u just leave it there?" its the adhd. Also if i had put it away then i wouldnt have been able to find it a month later when i needed it. So. Checkmate neurotypicals.

Problem is when the ADHD catalogue is out of date, when you go to check under the couch cushion for that paperclip and it ISNT there, sometimes your brain will just give you a montage of false memories of everywhere you've ever seen a paper clip, like this

Is it possible for white spotting on a cat to be wispy?

I just saw a video of a cat I haven't seen since it was a few weeks old (about a year ish ago) and I was shocked to see what I thought was a fever coat is actually still her fur pattern! I've never seen spots on a cat so broken up before that it really surprised me. anyone else have wispy cats?

White spotting definitely gets weird sometimes! It's definitely possible!

There are also a lot of other genes and things that cause interesting white patterns, though they're all pretty rare, so I wouldn't make any assumptions.

For anyone curious here she is. she didn't grow out of her markings at all! The whole litter was a very cute mixed bag of barn cat genetics haha
