Yes you….How did it become like this? When exactly has it come to my attention that I—that you…..That I like you? :(

This is ridiculous. You’re one of my best friends. Alright, probably the only guy best friend I have, but I’m sure this thing is wrong. You cheer me up when I’m sad, inspire me to chase my dream, to not be afraid to be unconventional and manage to not make me feel like i’m totally useless in the process. But I know this is wrong. You might act like a “douchebag” sometimes, but it’s all in good fun. You are very outgoing, able to make friends wherever you are, and are actually very caring to the ones who are close to you. You say the right things, you make me laugh, and you’re serious when you need to be. You’re a refreshing energy of positivity. But it’s definitely wrong.

You’re just one of my closest friends right? Can I stress on the friend part again? I even helped you have the courage to start your relationship with your girlfriend right now. Yes. Your girlfriend. The one you are crazy, stupid, head over heels in love with. Your girlfriend who is also my very good friend. The one with whom you are so in sync with. I mean, same taste in music, movies and don’t even get me started with Friends! And if you two had an argument, I helped you have patience and understanding. I even told you to not give up on her when things were really bad.

So why this now? You were supposed to be just another guy, albeit a best friend. Just that. How did this happen? When exactly did I take notice of you?

This is wrong. This. Is. Definitely. Wrong.

Hey…… If I create some distance and not tell you why, will you get mad? Will you even notice? If you knew the reason, would you forgive me? Would you widen the distance as well? I’m so anxious, do you know?
