Work on projects YOU want to do. Stay focused on your own joy in the creative progress. Do not take criticism from those you wouldn't take advice from.

This is your time and energy that you are using. So, use it on projects that bring you joy.

I highly agree with this post, while it is nice to feel good, while doing something nice for other people, sadly as the saying goes "There's no pleasing everybody". But at the end of the day, as long you have people who are there for you, and supports you every step of the way, of your talents as an artist/writer/crafter/etc, you'll be aright.

Do what you enjoy for yourself, FIRST and FOREMOST, as ones mental wellbeing is very important, to live a happy life.

It's been quite a while since I last post my pictures on here, in spite of the AI situation, I'll upload a few pictures now and then. I made a fanart for my friend @frankyding of her mockin Moka, who isn't very impressed with AI what so ever.

This piece was inspired by one of @skelotan's "draw a comic a day" posts, where the second panel on #20 had me chuckling, and motivate me to make this for my friend, who isn't a fan of AI (and I don't blame her).

Today's work, sanding down the 'tail' end of my baby Guqin 💖

The strings of a Guqin wrap around the tail end, so the black wood accessory protects the surface of the Qin. It also elevates the strings otherwise they'd be flat against the top of the Qin disrupting its sound.

A full sizes Qin's 'tail' usually has a protective border using the harder wood material, but since my baby Guqin is tiny I only added a small piece at the very end 😁

I for one agree with this, AI have no place within the art/writers communities by any/every means.

It's one thing to use AI to make NPCS in a video game less dumb, although it won't be as funny I will grant that, but to use AI to a point where it does alot more harm than good to everything else it touches, it's a no go for me chief.
