Gidget blinked at the animal-ish stranger who greeted him. He was slightly taken aback from being called “ cute ” and was going to try to skirt around it, but held his composure and responded the best way he could. “ H-hello, stranger. W-who are you? What’s that…shadow next to you? ”

At the comment about her shadow she glanced over to see the shadow looking over her shoulder at the tiny robot, seemingly fascinated 

“That’s nothing” she claims with an indifferent expression on her face

“But anyway” she continues, squatting down to try and reach the robots level “I’m Crysy” holding out a hand “and you are?”

Gidget looked away from the shadow, ignoring it and grabbed Crysy’s hand, not shaking it, but seeming to hold onto it. He felt incredibly nervous, but eased himself and giggled. “ My n-name is G-Gidget…hello, Crysy…. “

the shadow rather disappointed by the lack of a response sticks his face over Crysy’s shoulder “Are you not going to introduce me?” it asks. Crysy groans “I swear to the stars Tenebris, no I am not going to.” “why not?” “cause you’re a bi-mmmm- meanie.”

“ T-Tenebris? “ Gidget processed the name of the shadow and nodded. “ N-nice to meet you… “ He continued to hold onto Crysy’s hand, not knowing how to start the conversation, twitching slightly nervously.

Tenebris then pushes Crysy out the way and gets right up in Gidget’s face

“That’s me! Tenebris, Lord of Darkness” he exclaims, flashing a grin bearing his almost none existent teeth

“Hes not actually the Lord of Darkness” Crysy added “He just likes to sound edgy” she continues, grabbing at his horns in an attempt to drag him away from the small robot

Gidget jumped up, letting go of Crysy’s hand as Tenebris got in his face, almost falling onto his rear. As Tenebris spoke to him, he shivered at how close he was to his face until he was pulled back almost instantly. He tried his hardest to calm his shivers, but watching the two go at it only made him more nervous to say anything to stop the fighting. But he’d try to anyway.

“ P-please stop…. “

He got back off the ground and looked a bit anxious with his request.

after Crysy realizes how unconformable she is accidentally making this she lets go of tenebris but not without giving him the little ‘im watching u’ gesture

Gidget held onto Crysy’s hand again and sat down groaning, looking incredibly tired. “ W-where did you two meet? I’m honestly curious… “

Tenebris then bluntly explained it “She walked into the cave i was sleeping in” 

“well maybe you shouldn’t of been sleeping under my house like a weirdo”

it had been about 2 years since the first incident, but Crysy’s life had been kinda peaceful since then, asides from the fact her shadow just randomly started talking one day and asking for her soul But otherwise it was good.

But today? It was something Crysy was rummaging through her bucket of freshly collected, uh rocks?? why do you have rocks? but anyway standing up suddenly (while dropping the rock filled bucket might i add) was enough to startle Tenebris to peek out of the girls shadow watching in confusion he mockingly asked “Aw are your hybrid senses tingling?” No response… “hey you could at least pay atten-” Crysy cut him off with a blunt “Somethings off and its not your attitude”  “what” “You heard me”
