So let me get this straight

Criston Cole, exhausted, emmaciated and weak, kills about 12+ enemies.

Asks for a 1v2 to spare the lives of his remaining men and get's shot down by arrows from a distance.

And Team Black is cheering?

They literally proved his point. They would rather shoot him from a distance like the cowards they are than duel him.

And the Best part?

They omitted the "I'll have no songs about how brave you died Kingmaker...." line!

So it makes that scene look like they shot him not because they thought he did not deserve a warrior's death, but because they would rather not face him head on.

He truly is the realm's greatest warrior, at the time of the dance.

And the fact that he wraps around Alicent's handkerchief (is that what it's called?) Around the handle of his sword as he prepares for his last stand. It cannot get more romantic than that.

And he DOES get remembered in the main series, by Jaime and Arianne Martell so it's a big fuck you to Blackcels.

Here's to Ser Criston Cole! The Kingmaker! Long may he be remembered (he does)

On a side note, I could make drop dead about Kwichols but I don't like to associate "dead" with Kwon even though that's not the meaning in the song, so we can go with The Cure, but honestly honestly, Kwichols to me has a lot more of Guts Vibes than this one, this one I can use for Lewichols (even the sad parts ha :')

it always sort of surprises me when people think that sleeping beauty has this pink, pastel, coquette-type aesthetic. i think it's mostly because aurora is marketed as the "pink princess", and because of the live action maleficent, but when people just assign her/the original film as a whole the "pink princess" aesthetic, it just makes me sad, because the film itself isn't pastel, it's dark and colourful! (not that i dislike aurora being the pink princess, i still think that marketing is lovely bc i love pink)

just look at those colours!! that's one of the things i love most about the film—how colourful it is. most (or all) of the disney films have sort of themes or colour pallettes to them, and i wish people paid more attention to how beautiful sleeping beauty's is! it's so frickin colourful and dark!! you've got the bright greens of maleficent's magic, the bright reds, blues, pinks of the medieval-style kingdom, and of course the three good fairies' dresses, and aurora's!

there's also definitely more green in the film than there is pink. maleficent's flames, the countryside aurora was raised in. but even then, aurora's peasant dress, her cottage, the woods... they're less "soft cottagecore" and more rich colours, like actual woods. it feels so nice and earthy!

the film also has super dark moments too! not like... "oh this film is so dark" (though i mean... kinda), but the actual colours! i definitely get why they made aurora pink for marketing, and i do love the aesthetic they've seemed to have given her with all the pink, gold, girly stuff. buttt i also wish people realised just how beautiful the film is outside of disney princess marketing!!!

Idk what's going on with F1 this season, like last year even with Ferrari not winning anything I was excited to watch all of the races, and this year I have genuinely forgotten about 3 of them (including today's one), like why is it so.... Weird to watch it now? Like Ferrari is better this year than last year in a few ways, Hamilton has gotten more podiums and I find the races incredibly boring and midfield is more interesting than ever but it all looks just kinda fake

Heey Friends, so I have an... Explanation about Moonvale and Duskwood.

Haven't played ep 3 yet, saw some spoilers though which made me mad, but the point isn't that.

So, we all remember how people were either completely against romancing Eric or were kinda falling for him really unexpectedly (second one is me, I am people), I think I found a reason.

I don't know if many of you would agree, but it's how I'm rationalizing, I think Eric's personality (in the first 2 eps) is what Jake was before the FBI started hunting him, with the exception Eric seems like an ambivert and Jake was an introvert.

Idk why this came to me, but there's just something in the way Jake talks to the MC in Duskwood after they start to get close that is eerily similar to how Eric talks to the MC in Moonvale, and Eric apparently only talks like that with the MC. So idk, I think Jake wouldn't flirt as unabashedly as Eric does, but there're some similarities there, in the way they talk to the MC.

So I'm assuming before the FBI, Jake was that kind of curiously stupid that Eric is, maybe a bit less but the same idea of doing reckless stuff and thinking later, cause that's endearing to be honest, but he became extremely guarded and careful after whatever he did, and only the MC from Duskwood was able to reach that on him, to make him feel like his old self.

This is probably just me trying to understand how in the hell I kinda fell for Eric. Cause when I tell you I don't really have a type, but somehow Jake was the DEFINITION of my type of personality when I was playing Duskwood, that's something.
