There certainly was a time when Shadow was just a tiny, trusting baby-hedgehog, hanging onto big sister Maria’s every word, and her playful mischief got him into all sorts of trouble. Siblings life. One’s the bad influence, but they both end up getting yelled at.

Gerald might be grumpy, but he's a loving grandfather.

Maria lifted one arm, trembling, weak, as if the very air weighed her down. Her skin looked like it would bruise at a glance, like if he touched her, he might hurt her without meaning to. Her hand reached toward him, fingers outstretched. Something twisted inside Shadow. Not quite pain. Not quite rage. Resentment of knowing her sickness was why he existed. That he was crafted to save her.

And until now, no one had ever looked at him like he was anything more than that. No one had offered him warmth.

His voice, when it came, was hoarse. Unused.

“I was made… for you.”

A headcanon i had that metal would favor stone over eggman because he comes to hangout with him when eggman’s away ^^!!

I made silly goofy comic of my favorite rats. and since I just love sonic movies and it thanks to them that I got into sonic, I decided to make something silly about movie sonic and shadow. so behold, teenage boys being akward and trying to figure out their feelings.
