This is just insane - check it out :D
We all have been there - the girl wants to dance and the men has a heart attack in a corner.
Let’s help the gents out with this one!
I created a full collection of everything you need to know to turn this problem to your advantage and you can find it right here:
https://youtu.be/VTjVO3kf46o
I cover which dance to chose, what you can do if you are anxious about getting started and I even give you some specific moves to start with :)

Perfect for work or ballroom dance :)
I got the idea from pinterest and just had to try it myself. The special quirk was to work with lightly woven fabric - so pretty but so unruly!
Enjoy!
Don’t let the pain interfere with your heels!
Especially on the dance floor :)
After my latin shoe review did so well, I figured that this is a huge problem for many. So I addressed it in a separate video, uploaded today!
https://youtu.be/qV96bMwt7Gw
It consists of two parts - exercises that help to strengthen your feet and tools to help with your heels :)
I hope you will find it helpful! Let me know :)
No one told me I couldn’t so I simply did it ;-P
Made this beautiful ballroom leotard - can’t wait to wear it to lectures after lockdown!
It is made out of velvet fabric and the light plays so lovely in it - love it! The colour changes depending on the surroundings!
Check out my YouTube video if you want to know how to make such a leotard yourself:
https://youtu.be/nVcvwmWbEDs
It is not difficult and suitable for beginners!
Happy dancing!
Just added another YouTube video where I give 2 secret tips for stable ankles!
Works in heels as well!

Anyone up for the challenge? ;)
Hope this helps and happy dancing!
Love this leotard!
I made it DIY during lockdown <3
Not too difficult - 5 steps basically:
#1: Make a pattern - derived from a standard leotard
#2: cut the fabric - I used snake like foiled fabric :)
#3: serge it - serging is indeed the fastest way to connect pieces together but a sewing machine does the trick too!
#4: hem it: I don’t posess a cover stitch machine so I did it with an ordinary sewing machine :)
#5: Be a snake! - Love it!

Making my own latin competition dress <3
Inspired by Strictly Come Dancing and my own love for dance :)
The decorations and stones are not yet on but I love the cut already.

I made this skirt during lockdown - absolutely love it!
It is a 4(!) circle skirt for which I combined the idea of a pencil and a mermaid skirt :)
Please let me know if you want a YouTube video about how to DIY this!
she is: “the champion”
“Born in Pretoria in South Africa, Oti began dancing as a young child alongside her sister Motsi, who is also a professional dancer and now a Judge on our very own panel!
Despite studying Civil Engineering at University, dancing was always Oti’s true passion. As a result, she moved to Germany in search of new challenges to broaden her dancing horizons. Since then, she has achieved many titles in her dancing career, including third place in World Cup Freestyle Latin in 2014, second place European Championship Latin in 2014 and first place in German Championship PD Freestyle Latin.
She’s also a judge on BBC One’s The Greatest Dancer and coached the very first winner, Ellie Ferguson.”

As a PhD in physics who can’t stop dreaming of dancing I can relate so much ^^
The physics of dance is fascinating - and given that I do a PhD in physics, I bet that I could bore you to death with the theory!
However, this is not my aim - but having a scientific background does come with the advantage of looking at dance in a more structured way when necessary.
I try to employ this in my latest YouTube video where I break down keeping balance and doing spiral turns for you!
Spiral turns are used in latin american dancing and can also often be seen on a catwalk when the model is doing a dramatic turn to give the audience one last glance. Epic!
Curious as to how it is done and how you can master the turn yourself? Then please check the full explanation by following this link:
