I have been rewriting my old Tsukihina one shot from like 2024 for the past many days now and I feel no closer to finishing it lmao I reread it before I started altering it and it was so bad and made no sense especially at rhe end?? So it's a lot more well thought out and quite long now which is nice but I also think its very ooc which is not uncommon for me I suppose but idrc atp lollll but I am excited to put it out 🫠🫠
I hate that Tumblr has an option to filter out tags,,, as in filtering out tags that you DONT want to see, but then those posts are still available. Why is it even a fucking option if I have to scroll through post after post after fucking post thats just "filtered tag: , view post" like no I dont wanna fucking view post i filtered that tag out for a reason??? Like especially if youre in a fandom thats 90% the tag you have filtered out like great that shits not on my fyp not make it so when i search up a basic ass thing, posts that have my filtered tags dont show up too!!! Like I tried to search up itadori from jjk, and EVERYTHING. ALL OF IT. Is just "view post" because I blocked all of the jjk x reader bullshit so every 30 blank posts theres like a fanart ive already seen 5 billion times bc its never any fucking different. I just wanna see the content im actually looking for. And theres no other options in settings like fuck man
I swear every other day I come onto here saying im watching something new 😭😭 but anyways I finished mp100 and I'm still on the road but after that i started jjk, which i had started when the anime FIRST came out in like 2020 and never finished s1 and I finished ep41 where Shibuya happens and my FUCKING HEADPHONES DIED so now I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS until they are charged again like im not kidding the SECOND I got to 42 and it shows Yujis reaction to what just happened I heard the little beep and it stopped playing. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO #roadtrip
Ok my internet is so fucked rn bc im on vacation ig but teruki is gay and ragebaits reigen, he offhandedly mentions that Serizawa has been staying with him and Teru is just like "youre living together? Thats gay" and it makes reigen soooooo mad but not bc he's homophobic or anything he just doesn't like that the 14 year old calling him gay is also gay and he's in denial about his feelings for serizawa
Tumblr is such a piece of shit ive tried posting my sasunaru fic like 3 times and it has not saved and now I have to re edit it again just for it to not work 🖕🖕🖕🖕
Ok i tried again and it DIDNT WORK and I havent had any problems with my other shit so im deadass gonna ask for an ao3 account right fucking now because im so sick og this BULLSHIT HOLY SHIT OHHHHHHHH MY FUCKING GOIDEEDDEBWBWHQIAB AGHHHHHH AGHHHHHHH AGHHHHHHH

Ftm Giorno one shot ive spent like the past week writing Im sorrh its not that good I knew I wanted to write trans giorno but I didnt know what and then I remembered I had this idea where koichi realizes the pic of giorno is outdated but not bc he looks different but bc hes a whole ass guy now. I think koichi has a good gaydar and jotaro doesn't, even tho koichi is straight and jotaro is not 💀 the end with abba is just bonus bc it didnt feel long enough idk also I have thought of writing a part 5 fix it where giorno uses his contacts and jotaro, josuke, okuyasu, and obviously koichi, all help defeat diavolo and theyre all friends but idk. I like the idea of giorno being friends with the part 4 gang like koichi was there in pt 5 and they only interacted once!! Josuyasu would be such good friends with nara and mista bro but anyways read this
"DIO has a daughter. Koichi, I need you to find Haruno Shiobana in Italy, somewhere in or around Naples. Find her and determine if she's dangerous or not."
Those were the instructions Jotaro-san gave Koichi. Find the evil vampire's daughter somewhere in Italy, a country he had never been to and that speaks a language Koichi doesn't. This would be easy. So easy! Jotaro had given him an accompanying picture, and she looked nothing like what DIO was said to have looked like. Pin straight black hair, bangs, and a very... unenthusiastic looking face. In the picture, it wasn't that the girl was necessarily frowning, but the shape her mouth formed was definitely not a smile. All Koichi had to do was find this girl and interview her. As long as this girl wasn't, god forbid, a stand user, it would be easy.
----------
Ok, it was not easy in the slightest. As soon as he arrived in the airport, a young man scammed him and stole his luggage! But there was something about him, like an odd feeling that tugged on Koichi's gut, that told him that he wasn't normal. He just figured this meant that he was a stand user. But upon getting a closer look at this kid-- Giorno's-- face, he realized just who he was actually looking at. Giorno had gotten away, but Koichi couldn't be bothered to chase him down. There was something far more important he needed to tell Jotaro-san.
--
"Jotaro-san! There's something you need to know! The picture you gave me is outdated! And Haruno Shiobana doesn't really exist anymore. Hear me out-- seriously, hear me out-- but I think Haruno is actually a transgender man." There was silence on the other end of the line. "The fuck does that mean?" "Seriously, Jotaro-san, your age is showing right now! Haruno Shiobana is now Giorno Giovanna. He's a boy now!" Jotaro was very clearly exasperated at Koichi's answer, though he doubted it was out of hatred, but he heard a very distinct 'good grief' on the other end of the line. "Ok, fine. Why do you think that?" "Well, this guy I met has the exact same face!" "Right, and you're sure that you're not just mistaking another Asian kid as being Haruno? Cause that'd be pretty fucked up, Koichi." Koichi pondered a moment and groaned, "Yes, Jotaro-san, I'm sure. Their faces are exactly the same! Sure, he's blonde now, and his body is different... and he has a stand... riiight, yeah, he's also a stand user. Something about making animals, I think? Anyways, their eyes are exactly the same! His eyes are very distinct, I wouldn't forget them. You said I was reliable, didn't you? Trust me on this!" Jotaro let out a deep, annoyed sigh and decided to trust Koichi on this. Haruno was Giorno. Dio's daughter was actually Dio's son. This wouldn't change the fact that he needed to be found and questioned. "Well, it won't matter if he's a boy or girl if he's an evil bastard like his father; he'll be dead either way. Go find him again, Koichi." "Yes, sir!"
-----------
The next time Koichi saw Giorno Giovanna, it was outside the boy's school. A stand called Black Sabbath was trying to kill them over what Koichi had heard to be a small flame emitted from a lighter, but who the hell would try to kill two kids over that? But then again, he'd been in more bizarre situations before. When Black Sabbath had been temporarily defeated, and Giorno forbade Koichi from telling Jotaro about the Stand Arrow, Koichi took a truly good look at Giorno. His hair was golden blonde, just like his fathers, and atop his forehead were 3 victory rolls. There were wavy face-framing pieces coming down at each sideburn, and other stray waves coming out of the braid that fell down his back. He wore a pinkish-purplsh colored suit that he thought might’ve been his school uniform at one point, and greatly reminded him of Josuke and Okuyasu's own modified uniforms. There was a large, heart shaped cutout in the center, showing off his, very flat, chest. There were blue ladybug brooches adorning each side, as well. He looked more like a high fashion model than a high schooler. But with the way Josuke took care of his pomp, he could've been, too.
"You came looking for me specifically. Why?" Koichi startled at this. Giorno was no doubt observant, but then again, Koichi wasn't the most subtle to begin with. "Well, your biological father-- do you know him?" Giorno reached into his back pocket, pulling out a brown leather wallet. He opened it and gently pulled out a picture from behind the clear plastic slot meant for a driver's license. He held it out towards Koichi, who immediately noticed the star shaped birthmark on the back of the man in the picture. He was well aware of the significance of the mark; after all, Josuke had it on his back, and so did Jotaro-san and his daughter, Jolyne. The man in this picture had the Joestar birthmark. "This is the only picture I have of my biological father. My mother let me have it. His name is Dio and he was an Englishman, but that's as much as I know." Koichi let out a large breath, frowning and looking away from Giorno, and he brought his hand to scratch at his neck, if only to have something to do with it. It was the kind of awkward set of facial expressions and fidgety responses you made when you really didn't want to tell someone the truth. "Well, your dad was, like, really evil, so a friend of mine--Mr. Jotaro-- back when he was 17, I think-- about my age -- him, some friends, and his grandpa, Mr. Joestar, went to go... killyourdad. To my understanding, your father turned himself into a vampire and literally cursed the whole Joestar bloodline back in, like, the 1880s. Or so I'm told. The Foundation would have better records on that... Well, Mr. Jotaro told me to come here to Italy to find you in case you were also an evil vampire, but I seriously doubt you are!" Giorno's blonde eyebrows were quirked and he made a displeased face, skeptical of Koichi's story. "I see..." was all he said.
---
Koichi told Giorno the full story, from where Jotaro-san and Joestar-san had begun, with Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando and their sibling rivalry, up until everything that happened in Morioh two years earlier that Koichi himself had been around for, all over coffee. "What a bastard..." is what Giorno had spat about his father, with a deep scowl on his face. For the most part, the latte Giorno had ordered went untouched. "Well, anyways, Giorno, tell me more about yourself. Do you... have any vampiric traits? Or, tell me about your stand! Does it turn things into plants and animals?" Koichi awkwardly took a sip of his lemonade, hoping Giorno would say more than the few words or short phrases he usually said. Giorno hummed, "Not necessarily. It turns nonliving things into living things, simply put. Your luggage became a frog. A rock could become an eyeball. Atoms are turned into living cells. As for my supposed vampirism, I assume you have a picture of me, yes? That's how you recognized me." Koichi stilled for a moment, thinking of an appropriate answer before setting his nearly empty cup back down on the table. "Uhh, yeah, I do. But it's old. So I'm aware of the... changes... you've made since then. I like the new hair, by the way. It's interesting!" "You know I was born female then? Yes, it makes sense you would... In any case, my hair was a natural change. When my stand started manifesting, my body went through some changes as well... my hair started turning blonde, my ears turned pointy, and my canines... they fell out and grew back sharper. I haven't drank a single drop of blood, though. I haven't had an urge to, either. I look different, but I'm normal." This information was certainly new to Koichi. Giorno was not much of a smiler, so he had yet to see his extended canines, and his long, wavy hair covered his ears pretty well, or at least well enough that Koichi hadn't noticed that his ears did, indeed, come to a point at the top. He hadn't questioned the change in hair color at all, assuming he'd just wanted a change in appearance for high school, not that it had done that all on its own. And now that he was looking, he noticed that Giorno sat under the shaded half of the table they sat at, directly under the umbrella and out of the sun completely. He hadn't had any issue in the sun earlier, but maybe he still had some kind of aversion...He'd definitely have to report all this back to Jotaro-san. "Well, if that ever changes, please, please call me. If you end up being dangerous, I'm sure you know what will happen. You seem like a good man, Giorno," but like in slow motion, Koichi couldn't stop himself from voicing the one question he had left, "Hang on a minute... all that other stuff happened naturally, but what happened to your chest?" Koichi really hadn't meant to say that. He had been curious, because of course he was, but he really hadn't meant to be so forward in asking. Koichi brought a hand to cover his mouth, ashamed that he had asked such a question, but Giorno absently brought a pale, perfectly manicured hand to his chest, unbothered by the question. "I performed surgery on myself. I replaced cells with new cells; I rebuilt my chest. If my hand got cut off, for instance, I could re-form it using an inanimate object. But it wouldn't need to be an exact copy of it. A hand is still a hand no matter what it looks like." "You- you cut off your chest to make a new one? How the hell did you survive?!" The blonde boy just laughed smugly like the answer was obvious, crossing his legs and propping his head on his hand, like he was getting bored. "I did it in small pieces, slowly remaking it until it was flat." "Giorno, that's incredible!" It was clear that Koichi was impressed by Gold Experience, and he continued asking questions about all the things it could do, and comparing its medical talents to his friend Josuke's. Koichi just wouldn't know that he took an ungodly amount of Tylenol as he went. Gold Experience couldn't do anything for pain, unfortunately.

"I know you from somewhere. I swear I do. So, out with it, brat, where have we met?" Giorno, ever calmly, did not move a muscle at Abbacchio's demand. This was normal, and nothing to fear. Abbacchio was straightforward and didn't appreciate waiting for answers. "We have never met before, I'm afraid. I think we're both memorable people, I'd remember meeting you. I could only hope you'd remember meeting me." "You are familiar, that's why I'm fucking asking! You used to look different didn't you? Your hair is dyed or something, right?" Abbacchio's accusation did not throw Giorno off; he expected him to say something like that, and he had his answers prepared. "No, my hair is natural. My father was blonde." Abbacchio growled, ever annoyed at Giorno's responses. Suddenly, though, he seemed to have a revelation, and his eyes widened as he grinned at Giorno. "No, no, I know I'm right. I remember now. You did change your hair! It used to be long and black, didn't it? I got a call for a potential domestic altercation or- or child abuse-- there was a lot of yelling coming from an apartment. I came for a wellness check and you answered the door. I remember because of your eyes. Your eyes were very memorable to me, and your face hasn't changed at all!" As Abbacchio gave more details about the case, Giorno scowled, annoyed that the ex-cop would remember something so stupid. Giorno had vaguely remembered the man himself, but he had not intention of ever bringing it up. It was from a time in his past he'd especially just forget. Abbacchio started looking confused for a moment, his brows furrowed and eyes squinting as he tried to recall something more specific. "That had to have been you-- but I swear it was a girl. Dispatch had said a man was yelling at a young woman, and I thought it was a girl who answered the door, but it was definitely you, I know it was, so I guess not..." Giorno really hadn't wanted to tell Abbacchio any of this, let alone in this way, but he'd rather have told the truth than to keep making excuses. "It was me. And it was a girl. The girl was me, and now I'm no longer that girl. Do you understand, Abbacchio?" Realization dawned on Abbacchio's face, his black and purple lipstick contorting with his lips as he smirked. "I get it. Your secret's safe with me."

There was no way it was heaven; heaven was not somewhere Leone deserved to be. As his former partner continued talking about regret and the past and future, Leone felt the burn in his eyes that signaled tears. But Leone didn't cry. He never cried. He wore far too much makeup for crying and he had nothing to cry about. He didn't cry when Bruno left on missions, he didn't cry when things got rough and all he wanted was a drink but he couldn't have one because he was sober now, he didn't cry when he got stabbed, or shot, or hit; Leone did not cry. But he was now 26, in a bizarre state of inbetween, and crying. A few years ago, the thought of dying so young was appealing; appealing enough that he tried to drink himself to death after his partner had been shot and killed. But then he had met Bruno.
Bruno Bucciarati, who was so kind and gentle, who wanted to be in Leone's presence--- or rather, who wanted dirty, unkempt, drunkard Leone in his clean, angelic presence. From the moment Leone had met Bruno, he had been in love. They had been 24 and unaccomplished, but their souls were both stained with blood. They'd had, once-upon-a-time, bright and promising futures where they could've had anything they'd dreamed of, until a single moment changed their futures forever. Bruno had been young when it had happened to him, but he had not regretted his decision to kill those men. But Leone had made mistakes.
Leone was idiotic, taking bribes instead of upholding justice, becoming just another corrupt officer, someone who could never truly save someone's life. And while Leone's soul was stained with his past mistakes, Bruno had taken him into his arms, so, so gently, and had convinced him to stay. It was Bruno who convinced Leone to give living a second chance, and it was Bruno who had convinced Leone that he was capable of being loved, and then it was Bruno who loved him. And now, Leone was now 26, sober, in a committed relationship, and dead. He would never see Bruno's awful bedhead after waking up next to him again, or get to ignore Fugo and Narancia's awful bickering until he couldn't anymore and started yelling at them, nor would he ever see Mista's fugly outfit again (although that might be a good thing). And there were so many things he wanted to do... He wanted to get older, for one. He wanted to stay sober and beat the shit out of his enemies and go on another yacht. He wanted to terrorize Giorno until he decided to quit Passione. And really, more than anything else, he wanted Bruno alongside him the whole time. He wanted to marry him and never leave Bruno's side, to keep him deep inside his space, so close to him that they could never be apart again.
He wanted Sticky Fingers to zipper the two of them together in holy matrimony.
Leone stared down at his black leather boots, tears slowly falling down his pallid cheeks. His partner's gloved hand fell down upon his shoulder, clapping it gently. Leone, crestfallen, looked up to see his face, as soft and patient as he had known him once to be, and it took Leone a moment to actually understood what he was trying to say to him. At first, he tried to read his lips, but his tears only blurred his vision. "Don't you wanna go back? Leone, you don't want to stay here forever, do you? Don't you have things to do, people to see?" His voice was like a radio breaking in and out, but Leone could suddenly hear him loud and clear: he could go home.
"How? How do I go back?" His partner's smile was warm and unmoving, bright white teeth contrasting his tanned skin. His free hand pointed to the bus behind them, "Well, that's the bus you came here on over there, but there's another bus that's coming soon, and it'll take you home."
So Leone waited. And waited. And waited until another bus showed up. And when it did, he climbed aboard and took a seat in the back. Nobody else got on after him.
-----------
Leone felt the rush of blood inside him. There was blood, a lot of it, inside him. The last thing he remembered from consciousness was all of his blood splattering onto stone, the gaping wound in his stomach hot and sputtering.
He could recall the several moments in between dying, when he saw his former police partner well and alive, as he was before the incident. In those moments, time had stood still, and he could no longer feel the warmth of the blazing Italian sun on his skin. His body had been entirely numb to everything. All he could feel was inner turmoil.
But warmth slowly returned to his hands as another pair grabbed his and intertwined them. A cold piece of metal pressed against his fingers before also becoming warm in his touch. And Leone only knew one person who wore a ring. His anima gemella amata... Bruno... "Yes, mio caro? It's me, I'm here." Leone groaned, "When this is over, we're finally getting married." Bruno chuckled, the way he always did, the laugh that sounded of pure adoration. Whenever Bruno laughed like that, it was always directed at Leone or the kids. It was full of love and showed how enamored Bruno was with this life. This was their family, and this laughter was reserved for just them. "My, you're so straightforward. Of course I'll marry you, my love. You just rest for now, we're on the way to Rome."
I forgot I did this and then never drew it but I drew alice and I actually like it a lot, especially her face. I tried a new brush too which I will use more
I have a shitty headcanon for giorno that he sleeps really weirdly. He hoards like 5 billion blankets and makes a chrysalis out of them LMAO (I actually really wanna use chrysalis and cocoon interchangeably but they are different things and cocoon makes more sense bc I feel like more people know what a cocoon is but giorno is more of a butterfly than a moth and butterflies make chrysalises so I will use that 🫡🫡) but anyways yeah I think itd also be really funny if he slept like a stereotypical vampire bc I believe in vampire/dhampir giorno ofc but i also love chrysalis butterfly giorno so lets just say he keeps his arms crossed like a vampire inside of all his blankets. He sleeps with hair rollers in and sleeps heavily. I also drew this:
Hes fucking conked out wrapped like a burrito in half of the blankets in the entire house 💀 Giorno himself is basically an animal He has so many pillows and blankets on his bed it just naturally forms a nest and then he sleeps like this. A sleeping bag would make more sense tho tbh. OH MY GODD THOSE BUILT IN SLEEPING BAG/ZIP UP COMFORTER THINGS IN THE 2010S THE ZIPPYSACK!! I HAD ONE AS A KID BUT ANYWAYS THAT WOULD ALSO BE FUNNY!! Mf sleeps like the princess and the pea the way there are so many layers on his bed 😭😭😭
Tw: complaining 🤕 So my brother made me watch tadc yesterday and we watched 3 episodes and my opinions so far is that the show is decent but the voice acting is driving me a bit crazy because i don't think some of them are that good. Zooble sounds like boruto. zooble is an edgy preteen who's trying to figure themself out which is canon except for the preteen part so yeah zooble is just boruto to me. pomni is an interesting character and i love her va i swear but oh my god the stuttering thing is driving me crazy because its just so unnatural sounding. its so annoying. she's scared and uncertain and she often doesn't know what to say to the others because she's so unfamiliar with them and the circus, but the way this comes off is just so annoying. Gangle is also really annoying to me because Idk i just don't like her voice. I don't think she's annoying because she's always sad, i just think her voice doesn't suit her. characters like misery from ruby gloom or ena do such a good job at conveying sadness and despair in a way that gangle just isn't that good at to me. Ena's voice is much better suited for gangle than her canon one. Theres something about Caine's voice that i also don't like. I have no opinions on jax. Kinger is interesting. episode three with pomni was really really sweet i loved it. Ragathas voice is great but i think she overuses hand movements in a way that's really annoying. the white queen in Alice in wonderland does that and it makes me soo mad like put your hands down for two fucking seconds omg.
other than this, i think the animation is really reminiscent of shitty 2010s TV shows i watched as a kid. each episode has a lot of improvement. the creature from episode three is so fucking scary too omg its so well animated. im really curious to know more about why they're all trapped there. despite my complaints i will continue to watch it
2780 word Kakairu adopting Naruto fic as a valentines thingy hehehehehe
Kakashi goes to his boyfriend Iruka's apartment for the first time, and instead of seeing his boyfriend, he finds a child. Over the course of a few months (not shown), this child has learned to accept Kakashi as his family :3
Sorry I'm not the best at writing but I needed to write this >-<
Kakashi lazily walked up the steps to his boyfriends apartment, hands in pockets. They hadn't been together for long, only a few weeks, but they had technically known each other since they were teens. He had watched Iruka from a distance, wondering how it would feel to run his hands through his soft brown hair, or to walk hand in hand on their way to get ramen. In the end, Iruka was the one to ask Kakashi out, shyly asking him if he would want to get dinner once he got off work at the mission desk. He had been surprised, of course. Even as skilled of a shinobi as he was, he hadn't seen Iruka's reciprocation coming. But in the end, they liked each other. Despite Iruka's sternness and Kakashi's blatant disrespect for rules and appropriate behavior in public, they got along incredibly well. They were both passionate people, albeit in different regards-- Iruka was passionate in his teaching, taking care of the most overlooked population in Konoha to bring them to their fullest potential, and Kakashi was passionate in his fighting, to fight and fight until there were no more enemies; to serve his people until he couldn't anymore.
There were a lot of things he loved about Iruka; his hair, his scar, how bossy he could be, but above all, his passion for teaching was most admirable. There was no doubt in his heart that he was in love with Iruka. He couldn't say he had ever been in love before, though. He had had a childish crush on Obito for years until he died, and he really wasn't one to sleep around. Despite what most people would think, kakashi was severely lacking in romantic experience.
♡
Iruka had made one thing very clear before they really got serious: Iruka's students were more important than anything else. There was one student in particular that Iruka was fond of, and Kakashi was under the impression that Iruka had a desire to adopt this student one day. It was clear that Iruka was a family man. And if he wanted Iruka, then he would need to be a family man too. The thought of this scared Kakashi to his core, though. Him, with a child? Multiple children even? He was a former ANBU and a high level jounin. He had become a chunin at 6 and a jounin at 12, and with all the things he had done since then-- could Kakashi hope to take care of a family?
♡♡♡♡
Iruka had given Kakashi a key, for god knows what reason, but it was convenient. He fished it out from his pocket, slotted it into the keyhole and turned. He had expected to see Iruka, maybe cleaning, or perhaps cooking lunch. Well, Iruka couldn't really cook, but the amount of effort that he put into trying was cute. Instead of seeing this, though, he saw a young child kneeling on the floor, propped up against the coffee table and scribbling onto a piece of paper. When he heard the door unlock, the child peaked his head up, probably expecting to see Iruka instead of a stranger. The boy furrowed his brows in annoyance when he saw Kakashi and went back to coloring. "Oh, I'm sorry, I must have the wrong apartment..." the boy looked up again and took a good look at Kakashi. "If you're looking for Ruka, then you're in the right place. But he's getting groceries right now." Kakashi closed the door behind him anyways, taking in the full view of the child before him. Bright yellow, spiky hair, vibrant blue eyes that were perhaps a bit too tired for a boy of this age, and odd looking whisker-y marks in his cheeks. This was, without a doubt, Minato's son.
Was this the child Iruka had taken a liking to? He knew that Iruka wanted a family, but it was a bit early for this child to already be moved in. And for Iruka to not even tell him... "I see. My name is Kakashi. I'm a... friend, of Iruka's," should he tell this boy that they were dating? Maybe. Would he even understand the concept? Perhaps. But if this was indeed Iruka's secret adoptive child, then Kakashi popping up out of nowhere claiming to be Iruka's boyfriend could be bad. "What's your name?" "I'm Naruto Uzumaki!" Any doubt Kakashi had of this child being his former sensei's (which was already none) had vanished. "Well, Naruto, how old are you? Do you live here?" Naruto huffed in annoyance. Clearly, Kakashi was testing his patience. "I'm 7. And yes, I live here. Where do you live, Kakashi?" Kakashi chuckled from under his mask, "I live in a barrack with other jounin. What are you drawing, Naruto?" "Me and Ruka-sensei!" He held up the sheet of paper he was coloring on, showing off an image of two people, just a level above stick-figures, still a lumpy and malformed impression of a human. The one on the left was Naruto, small and pale with bright, sunshine yellow hair and blue eyes, and the biggest smile he could've possibly drawn on himself without looking crazy. On the right was unmistakably Iruka, with his deep, tanned skin and scar that covered his nose, and he, too, was grinning wide, holding onto the mini-Naruto's hand. The background was as you would expect of a 7 year olds family portrait: a yellow sun in the corner, green spiky grass, and a blue sky. He pointed at himself, "That’s me!" And then to Iruka, "And that’s Ruka! My teacher said we needed to draw family poor-trit, which I guess is just like a drawing of our families, but I don't have a family, so I just drew me and Ruka instead. Isn't it great?" Naruto was supposed to grow up being doted on by Minato and Kushina, showered with love and never alone. He shouldn't have had to draw his sensei in his family portrait, but knowing that Iruka showed Naruto so much love that he would include him, and only him, into it gave him hope. Naruto and Iruka truly deserved each other. "It's a lovely drawing! Say, do you know when Iruka will be back? If he left you alone I doubt he'd have meant to be gone long." Naruto hummed, pulling another blank sheet of paper from a stack on the table and digging through his bucket of crayons for colors. "He'll probably be back soon. Less than an hour, maybe. He has wards in place or something like that, so I'm not super worried about being alone. If he was, he'd have sent Ibi-san or Anko to stay with me." Hearing the infamous interrogation and torture officer, who was brutal in his interrogation methods and just as cold in his personal life, be referred to as 'Ibi-san' made him want to laugh. He'd be making fun of Ibiki for the rest of his life.
♡♡
Kakashi spent the next 40 minutes hanging around Naruto, asking questions, waiting for Iruka to come home.
Naruto liked ramen as much as Iruka did, his favorite color was orange, and he liked dogs. He hadn't had much of a positive impression on dogs because one had chased him down after he stole a piece of fruit from the market when he ran out of groceries once, but Iruka made him hang out with the Inuzuka family and socialize, and they had lots of dogs, so he was beginning to like them more and more. Kakashi took this time to tell Naruto about his 8 ninken, and summoned Pakkun to introduce him to to start. Pakkun was gruff and annoyed at being summoned to be introduced to a random 7 year old, but Naruto knew how to properly pet a dog and was gentle, so Kakashi took it as a win when Pakkun complied and lay on his back so Naruto could rub his stomach better.
Pakkun was one of his more stubborn ninken; not as sociable or friendly as the others, but he was hardly mean and would never turn away free treats or loving. It was during their play time that the front door opened and Iruka carried a large bag of groceries inside, which obscured his face. "Naruto, you didn't go outside, did you? Why is the door unlocked?" Sliding off his shoes, Iruka managed to rearrange the bag in his arms to take a look at Naruto, and unexpectedly Kakashi and Pakkun too. "Kakashi? What are doing here? I hope you haven't been waiting too long, I wasn't expecting you today!" "Mahh, it's alright, sensei! Naruto has been keeping me company while I waited for you. How about I help you with the groceries?" He walked to the open door and grabbed the other large bag that Iruka had sat down beside the welcome mat before coming in. He closed it behind him with his foot and followed Iruka into his small kitchen. They each set their bags on the counter and Iruka opened the black fridge, adorned with magnets and crayon drawings.
"Pull out all of the cold items, please. You haven't been here too long, have you? What did you and Naruto talk about?" Kakashi pulled out bottles of juice, milk, and fruits from the bags and handed them to his boyfriend, "Nearly an hour. Don't worry about it. We mostly just got to know each other." He pulled packages of meat out next and handed them off. "I just wish you had told me you had a kid moved in with you, though. What a surprise!" Iruka paused, looking at Kakashi with a confused look, "What? Naruto doesn't live here. I mean, I'd love it if he did, but nothing is official. He just... stays here sometimes because I don't want him to be alone at home all the time. Did he say he lived here?" A pack of mushrooms, "He did. Really, I guess this was an oversight on my part. I, a stranger, walked in and asked him if he lived here, and he got suspicious and lied. You would've told me if you were going to move a kid in with you... Right?" He grabbed a roll of biscuits from the bag and passed them along. "Uh, probably. But Naruto isn't just any kid, you know. He's the jinchuriki; people don't like him. That's why I was so worried about getting with you. Naruto is more important than anyone else in my life, and I need that assurance that you'll accept Naruto into your life as if he were any other kid. I guess I didn't need to be so worried, huh? You didn't tell him we were dating, did you?" Two tomatoes, "No, I didn't. I wasn't sure how it would go so I just told him I was a friend," A small bag of carrots, "You were planning on having us meet eventually weren't you? I passed the 'I don't mind if you have a kid' level, but have I passed the 'suprise! That kid is actually the nine-tails jinchuriki' level?" Iruka laughed, "Yes, I suppose you have. You've made it to next round Kakashi! Keep going like this and you'll end up with the grand prize'" he winked, "A family with me." "Well then, sensei, this game is an easy win."

"Kakashi isn't spending the night is he? Do I have to give him my bed?" "Well, only if you wanted to." Iruka looked at Kakashi, questioning. Put on the spot, Kakashi felt that he should say no, not wanting to make the kid give up his spot in the guest bedroom. If he were to spend the night, he would've shared the bed with Iruka, but he and Iruka weren't going to tell Naruto the truth about their relationship until he trusted Kakashi more. "No, I'm afraid not." "Well, even if he were, Kakashi would be more than fine sleeping on the couch." "Mahh, how rude of you, sensei!"

"Naruto, can we talk?" "I didn't blow up the trash can, I swear!" "Ok... I just wanted to talk to you about Kakashi." Naruto visibly relaxed at this, shoulders falling back down and eyes tightening. "What about him? Is he staying with us?" "Not tonight, no. I just needed to let you know something, is all. Do you know what it means to be gay?" Naruto thought deeply about it. He'd certainly heard the word before. But what did it mean, again? He had definitely heard some villagers use it as an insult, but those were some of the same people who treated him like trash for whatever reason, so those villagers weren't really trustworthy anyways. "Mmm I guess not. What is it?" Iruka laughed and bent down to Naruto's level, patting his head like he always did. "Well, it's when two men like each other. You know how two people who are in love are called a couple? Well, a couple can be made up of any type of two people. Two men, two women, or one man and one woman. Me and Kakashi are like that. We're a couple." Naruto's blue eyes widened in shock and his mouth gaped. "You and Kakashi are in love?! Why would you be in love with someone like him? You could do so much better!" "I thought you liked Kakashi!" "I did until I found out he's in love with you!" Iruka doubled down laughing, his hands on his kid's shoulders while he exuberantly tried to explain why Kakashi wasn't a good fit for Iruka. "He's not going to take me away from you, if that's what you're worried about. We were already dating the very first time you met him. You've known him for months and I've paid just as much attention to you as I ever have. See? There's nothing to worry about!" Naruto stopped his near-tantrum, puzzled expression back again. "You've been together this entire time?!?! Rukaaa, you're supposed to tell me these things!" Then, an onslaught of what looked like dread hit Naruto. His face changed from something fierce and protective to a more fearful and worrisome expression. "If he's not going to steal you from me, then is he going to be part of our family?" "Do you want him to join our family?" This really had Naruto on his toes. Did he want Kakashi to join their family? If that meant that Kakashi would live with them, did that mean that Kakashi would treat him like Iruka did? If Kakashi took up a spot in Iruka's bed, would he let Naruto join them when he had a nightmare? Or if he couldn't sleep? Would he make room and welcome him with open arms, or would he push him away?
Kakashi was a lot like Naruto. Rumors glided through the wind like pollen, and they were just as much of an allergen. He had heard people say awful things about Kakashi, and a lot of the awful things they said about Naruto weren't true, but was it possible they were right about Kakashi? He had always treated Naruto kindly and as if he was like anyone else, not the most hated child in the village.
One time, he had gotten sick, and Iruka had to go to work still, so Kakashi spent the whole day taking care of him. He had spent time making sure his fever went down, making sure he drank enough broth when he couldn't eat anything else, and had even carefully tucked him into bed. The things villagers said about him couldn't possibly be true, could they? That he was a cold blooded killer? Well, they said Naruto was a cold blooded killer, didn't they? And Naruto had never killed anyone!
(To be fair, Kakashi had probably killed people, given that he was a jounin, but it wasn't like he did it for fun!)
He was nice enough to accept Naruto into his life despite the inconveniences this brought, and had never let the rumors cloud his judgement of Naruto.
He had do the same for Kakashi. Iruka had taught him the golden rule, "treat others how you want to be treated." And Naruto wanted to be treated like a normal kid, and to have a family like normal kids, so that meant he had to treat Kakashi like a normal shinobi, and give him a family too!
"Kakashi-san can join our family!"
Iruka gave Naruto his warmest smile, a genuine gratitude for accepting Kakashi into his life. "He'll be so happy! How about the three of us get Ichiraku tonight? A nice family dinner." "Yess!"
