Jurassic Stark: A Jurassic World AU

There are some things one should never do around people like Tony Stark; make off handed comments about wanting a dinosaur being one of them. But then, at six years old, how was his daughter to know that Tony would spend the next twelve years (and a good chunk of Stark Industries’ resources) making that dream come true. Taking the island of Isla Nublar and turning it into Jurassic World, a one of a kind vacation destination.

Jurassic Stark is a Jurassic World AU. Posts will range from just daily park shenanigans (cause come on, it’s theme park shenanigans…with DINOSAURS) to all hell breaking lose once the inevitable happens.

Hundreds of thoughts entered Felicity’s mind as she left the office. Somehow, after hacking into SHIELD’s databases, they found out, and instead of getting in trouble for it, she had been offered a job. At first, Felicity didn’t know how to take this and thought there had been a mistake, but no, SHIELD wanted her on their side. So… she accepted the job.

As she exited the office, she felt her knees go weak from shock, she had been in that office for a very long time, discussing everything, she knew this job was dangerous but… part of that excited her a little bit. She would be more on the side-lines than in the actual action, but still, working for SHIELD wasn’t completely risk-free.

Pietro was bored. It was an almost constant state for him when there was very little or nothing for him to do; his enhanced speed making everything else seem to be moving slowly. Especially when he had to move at the same speed as everyone else. 

Eyebrow raising at the woman who had entered he didn’t have a clue who she was &, honestly, wasn’t too sure if he wanted to. SHIELD wasn’t popular in his mind, even after everything they had done in the rescue mission with Ultron. Though it would never have happened in the first place if it wasn’t for Stark. 

“ Who are you? ”

Shane was seated in a chair in the security room - his father had stepped out to get Shane a snack and the boy was more than enthralled with all the computer screens that it would be okay to leave him in Pietro’s care temporarily.  As the man spoke, Shane looked over at him and smiled.

“I can’t help it.  I don’t like being stuck in a building all day when there’s too much to see.  ‘N outta the public places I like the petting zoo.  In the restricted areas I like the Velociraptor Paddock.”

“ Well I was under the impression    that the restricted areas were    restricted. ”

Pietro laughed, turning from the monitor in front of him to face the boy who was temporarily in his care. I could already imagine Wanda’s claims that Shane was probably more responsible than he was; rude but true, though still rude.

She rebuffed while she tried to keep her lips from being pulled upwards. He was certainly arrogant sometimes, but she was stubborn and wouldn’t let this ‘argument’ be lost. 

“ Well, sestra, we both know that     is just your stubbornness talking. ”

He smirked in response, confidence in his own abilities never wavering as he proceeded to enjoy winding his sister up as much as humanly possible.

The important thing when dealing with Pietro is to never give him an opening to get under your skin.  He was tenacious, and quite clever – a dangerous combination.

Luckily enough for Steve, he didn’t really mind the references to the tights.  Because it was true: he did make them look good.

“I could, couldn’t I?”  He beamed at Pietro, smile wide and bright at what he was purposefully choosing to take as a compliment.  “Not everyone’s got an ass that could make that look work for them, but I sure did.”

Lounging in a chair, as he did most days, the Sokovian couldn’t hold back the snort that left his that at the reaction he got. Not the one he was expecting but still rather amusing nonetheless. 

“ So it’s true then? You went all    supersoldier, American’s    greatest weapon & instead started    wearing tights & preforming in    stage? I thought it was just a rumour    made by Stark. ”

“Rich, idiot customers. Don’t forget the rich.” Which, to Wanda, was the biggest problem. Not only were this kids rude, they were entitled – most of them belonging to parents who had way too much money and not a clue what to do with it.

You know, like their boss. And his kid. Wanda had only seen Mira once or twice, roaming the park with her Dad and taking in everything. Not having talked to her, she couldn’t a hundred percent speak to her personality, but come on…her father brought dinosaurs back to life and made her an entire theme park. There was no way she wasn’t some little diva.

“And hey…maybe one of them will get super wasted and fall in some carnivore’s pen.”

“ Oh how could I forget? Though   the park’s not exactly cheep, sestra. ” 

The certainly wouldn’t have been able to afford if they weren’t working for the park, & it was possibly both the weirdest & the most interesting job that they have ever had or will have. He laughed at the comment made by Wanda, eyebrows raising in wishful thinking as he finished off the last of his lunch. 

“ One can only hope. Unfortunately    security was very good. ”

He sighed as he listened to the sound of the chair spinning, a headache forming after the call from the daycare.

“Daycare says he’s taken off. Again.“

He nodded, turning back to the screen & flicking through various CCTV cameras to see if he could find the boy. Biting back a grin the whole time.

“ Perhaps you should put a    tracker on him, like in the    dinos. Then finding him at    least would be easier. ”

Right? It amazed Wanda, every day, how little regard people seemed to have for safety – their own personal safety. Like why would you do this thing that could potentially harm your own well being? It made no sense to her.

“God no. That would be just a disaster waiting to happen.” And probably lead to a whole lot of paperwork. Because somehow, even if Princess Snowflake was clearly ignoring all the warning signs of aggression, her getting trampled would still be their fault.

Ugh.

“Seriously? Yeah. Sure. It’s not overly exciting. A bit of herding through the backstage area, but if you wanna see. Yeah. I can call.”

Pietro shrugged, mouth currently too full of burger, as he finished it off, in order to verbally reply to his sister’s question. He didn’t get to see as much of the part’s attractions as security. There were too many idiots who thought that everything was safe. Everything was safe so long as they followed the rules & those kinds of people didn’t.  

“ You’d porbably end up doing the paperwork,    & I would help but I’m useless at is. As I’m    sure you know. ”

He grinned, elbow resting on his knees & chin on his hand as he looked at Wanda. 

“ Well there’s lots of things I miss out on seeing,    you know, too busy dealing with idiot customers. ”
