Hello! I'm very new to this area of the internet, and I'm trying to learn all I can >_< I was wondering what does the term transautistic mean to you? And do you use this term? If so, what was the journey like realizing this term applied to you? Do you think people can transition and if so, how would this work? Thanks!

It's good to have questions! We'll try and explain :]

The term transautistic is a transID, which means it generally refers to an allistic person who wants to "become" autistic. This is impossible of course, unless the person is autistic already and doesn't know. Typically this comes from a place of fetishising autism as a "superpower" or a "personality quirk" instead of what it actually is, a neurotype that very often is disabling.

We are autistic. Not transautistic, just autistic. We rarely can leave the house without sunglasses because we are too sensitive to bright lights. We've been looked at weird and ostracised for not hiding our stimming in the past. Even when we tried to mask, we were always that unpopular classmate in primary school, the one who you pretend to ask out on a dare to humiliate. If we could cure our autism with a button, there is a 0% chance we do it. But it is still a disability.

So no, we don't think people can "transition" to be autistic. The closest thing they can do is a mimicry of the real thing, by faking stimming, sensory issues, not understanding sarcasm, or whatever else they think helps them "transition".

On the other hand, we do recognise that some introjected headmates in systems may have been autistic in source but now aren't, and want a word to show that. But given the attachment to transIDs and other radqueer rhetoric (if you don't know, radqueer is a community that believes paraphilias such as pedophilia and zoophilia etc should be considered queer, and also that animals & children can consent to sexual activity which. they can't) that transautistic has, an alternate term is needed for those.

This is why we like desirdae terms. These are essentially transIDs, but specifically anti-radqueer and anti-harmful transitioning. Desirautistic, a term we use, might mean an autistic person "transitioning" to become more autistic by learning to unmask. It could also refer to the headmate dilemma above.

We didn't mean to write an essay in response to this so sorry ^^; hopefully this helped! And hopefully this inspires you to stay far, far away from the radqueer & transID community :'] note: the term transspecies, used by otherkins & therians, was originally made by non-radqueers, then co-opted by the community, and is now being reclaimed by anti-rqs. So if you see the term transspecies, don't automatically think transID ^^;

Now to answer a few of those questions: Firstly, what does that term means towards us? Dislike, fully not liking it. Secondly, and towards those who use it? No opinion/neutral. And lastly, do we use it? No, we are prof. dxed with ASD, meaning there is no to id with it in the slightest as we are already autistic. To add on usually those who id with terms such at it, most likely have the aforementioned disorder without realizing it due to not recognizing the signs/and or something is going on that leads to the urge to identity with those in cases where circumstances such as needs are not being met appropriately in various areas. And generally, no, you can't transition towards having autism, with no nuance with that. Eribon echoes our thoughts in that well enough.

Overall, those are our thoughts on the manner. We are not in the "mood" write more than we said, as it gets our opinion upfront.

Supercritical Front

When the front is in a state of there being one singular fronter and many at the same period. It is essentially a supercritical state of matter(hence the Supercritical naming) in the form of a front. Anchor

A member/alter/part/headmate which acts as an "anchor" in destabilizing situations, ie. mood swings, bpd splitting, rapid switching, etc. allowing for any kind of functions to not be destabilized in relation to this anchor. This acts as a secondary role. For example, Anchor-Protector, Anchor-Host, etc.

i was wondering if you could coin a desirdae for being middle eastern? We're technically middle eastern (don't know exactly where, hence the being vague) but we were raised white, told we were white, and are mostly white, and thus after we found out we're also middle eastern, it's been confusing and we've wanted to connect with our ancestry (im so sorry if this doesn't make sense)
