just got out of Ghost at the Intuit Dome. Holy shit, guys. That was an incredible experience. Some details:
-There was a whole film crew behind the barrier and occasionally onstage, getting shots of the ghouls and Papa for every song and the bows as well. Theyβre putting out a music video at the very least.
-At the end of the concert, Papa introduced the Ghouls by their real names and thanked them for touring with him, and said that without them heβd be a βstupid looking assholeβ alone onstage, and that there would be no Ghost without the Ghouls
-Someone tossed a propeller hat onstage. Papa picked it up and put it on, then rambled a bit about how he likes propeller hats
-during the encore, Papa pointed out Sodo by name, told the audience theyβd been touring together for ten years, and told him to βkick assβ one last time. All the ghouls got hugs at some point during bows, but Sodo got two.
-While introducing The Future Is A Foreign Land, Papa referenced the show Fawlty Towers (???) and specifically a character who βalways comes backβ. During TFIAFL he changed β2024β to β2034β.
-Instead of the usual patter where he bargains with the audience to get us to leave before the encore, he thanked us sincerely for supporting him for so long, specifically pointing out a few people who had been following the tour for 70 shows.
-The encore was MOAC, Dance Macabre, and Square Hammer. He mentioned that MOAC was a song βhe got from his fatherβ.
-Papa picked up a piece of Mummy Dust from the stage, rolled it up, licked the end to seal it, and tossed it into the crowd. That was on the floor, you nasty weirdo!!
