Posting on tumblr for the first time in years because I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO HEAR THIS.

I was there for Stephanie’s last Jenna performance and it makes me emotional every time I think about it. She was unbelievably beautiful in the role and her rendition of this song is now my absolute favorite (though I obviously adore Jessie & Sara, too). Her voice is SO stunning.

this season isn’t doing it for me (as a whole - some exceptions)...and this most memorable year night highlighted this point a LOT. don’t get me wrong: a lot of the celeb’s stories were moving and emotional. but the judges always seem to mistake that emotion for dancing technique and it makes me so frustrated.

Honestly, I would’ve given Heather a 10 for the cha cha she did that night. Carrie Ann complained about the ‘lift’ (that was supposed to symbolize her husband carrying her over the threshold) and I wanted to scream!! I don’t think Emma and Rashad deserved 10′s for this, but I’m so happy Emma finally has an awesome partner and there’s no mistaking he’s super talented.
