like. i'll leave this alone. but HOW are historical romance books not sexualizing the fall of breeches. literally a blowjob flap. not to mention the collars that open to the diaphragm. the décolletage with a wide neckline one swift tug from being revealed. the calves on display. the intimacy of finally seeing the real hair beneath the wig. cmon it's basic storytelling
i love making a post that attracts everyone with usernames like mozartswigsweat and bonnetenthusiast and foppishrake and petticoatsonpetticoatsonpetticoats and dandyismunlimited within 48 hours. blessed webbed site. merry christmas to us all.

“A promise is an obligation, especially when made to a Fae.”
"I fell in love with the way you hated me" character and "I hated you like it was prayer and you were a god" character
I made these as a way to compile all the geographical vocabulary that I thought was useful and interesting for writers. Some descriptors share categories, and some are simplified, but for the most part everything is in its proper place. Not all the words are as useable as others, and some might take tricky wording to pull off, but I hope these prove useful to all you writers out there!

Oh, that’s very helpful indeed!
tag the oc that has a Weird Gay Thing going on (they may or may not be gay)
.
I loveee fantasy settings doing magical exhaustion:
burnt out pyromancers emitting steam and smoke
tired cryomancers shivering with visible foggy breath
weary necromancers looking ill and hearing voices
frazzled healers receiving the same cuts, bruises, and injuries of their patients
Druid, low on magic: I'm [coughs up flowers] fine.
horniest battle moments:
- taking your ally's weapon out of their scabard to use yourself
- using someone else's shoulder as a rifle stand
- nudging someone's chin up with the tip of your weapon
- freezing with your blades against one another's throats, breathing into each other's mouths
Caretaker Words
“Stop pushing this off. Something’s really wrong. Trust me.”
“Don’t look at it. What did I just say?”
“You have a fever so I’m going to pretend you did not just say that to me.”
“I need you to stop moving. I know. I’m sorry. But I can’t stitch this up if you keep pulling away.”
“Can you walk?”
“That was a really hard hit. Maybe you should just lay there for a while.”
“You look terrible. How terrible? Terrible enough for them to call me.”
“I’ve got you. You’re okay. It was just a fever dream.”
“It’s not that deep. I’m wrapping it up…ohhh my God…yeah, no, it’s fine. Not that bad.”
“Oh you’re fine? Then why are you slowly tilting.”
love love love when already injured characters are caught by their teammates as they slump forward. When their words blur together into an incompressible mess. When they press a hand against their injury to no avail. The blood is seeping through, weaving down their wrist. "Let...go." Suddenly going pale, falling in and out of consciousness. "I'm-- I'm fine."
They're not.
