Tumblr needs to stop with the constant ‘callout’ stuff. You get recommended shit based on literally almost anything, I get blogs for things I can’t fucking stand all the time. Tumblr’s algorithms are some of the worst I’ve ever seen.

I really want to get across to the anti-natalists that by not having children your life’s existence essentially means nothing. Any work you’ve done, any fantastic feats you’ve accomplished that will go down in history are statistically irrelevant if you don’t do the one thing that ensures that your existence is continued: having children. You could be a trillionaire and build the largest known corporate empire ever seen, but if you purposely choose to not have kids you’ve damned your existence to oblivion.
One day everyone will forget about you and your accomplishments. If you have children and the line continues you will exist. Even if after 5 millennia your lineage has continued but forgotten your name, your genetic contribution is not forgotten.
Except some people just don't give a shit about "continuing their legacy" and this "their existence will mean nothing" is just meaningless to them. Who cares. That's just their thing. Let them be.

Islam gave women the right to be involved in politics, the right to earn and keep their own money. Islam gave women the right to work outside of the home. Islam gave women the right to divorce. Islam gave women the right to choose who they marry. Islam gave women a whole bunch of rights that Western women acquired later in the 19th and 20th centuries and we’ve had these rights since the 7th century A.D. So don’t come at me and be like “Islam is sexist”. My religion is not sexist, your society is.

My mother told me that only women are criticized for premarital relationships because women “carry the honor” aka have hymens. She told me I couldn’t use tampons because god said only my husband could touch me there. She said that god created a woman to have children and serve her husband; that a woman must obey her husband in order to win paradise. She told me that women cannot live alone, without male guardians, or else they were dirty whores. She told me all the problems in the world were caused by women being allowed to work and have sex as they pleased, that breast cancer was god’s personal punishment to women who chose not to have children, that menstruation was punishment for the original sin of Eve’s temptation, that the prophet said if he would tell a woman to prostrate herself to anyone besides god, it would be to her husband. She told me that women must cover themselves up because otherwise we would tempt men and would be sent to hell. Rizzydraws is an lgbt artist from Indonesia, he posted a comic about pride month and how homophobic it is where he lives. Someone doxxed him and reported him to the local authorities. When he says “I’m going away now” He doesn’t mean he’s leaving Twitter. He means he’s going to shuffle his mortal coil. He ingested various household chemicals in an attempt to end his life. He survived but the story doesn’t end there; he obviously lives in an area that is under sharia law. If he pulls through he could be publicly flogged; his sexuality announced to the locals as he’s brutally punished. Islam is a truly disgusting religion, and whoever doxxed him deserves to be harshly punished. This whole ordeal breaks my fucking heart, it is a truly sad thing to happen. I can’t keep my mind off of this, shit like this sticks with me hours or even days. Rizzy will be in my thoughts until he can get well and leave Indonesia.
