“One being metal means I have to put the non-metal one into overtime you know.” Also while she did it meat and greens, Ruby also neglected actually giving up on her habit of eating sweets such as cookies and like. She really couldn’t break her bad habits if she tried and that’s what probably lead to her endurance being.. poor, even despite it being a lot better then when she was younger.

“Can’t say I want a fake eye in my socket, besides the eye-patch look is pretty badass. Certainly makes people attracted enough to wanna chat.” just like Yang she enjoyed putting on a tough persona, and similarly Ruby was all for the attention, even if that attention wasn’t always for the best.

“Well you don’t have to adjust the hunting schedule too much… I’m still pretty good to go on whatever is next.” despite her complaint about being tired, she really did want to at least prove how tough she could be. Well, more tough then just punching out a Grimm with her normal, bare hand.

“Well, your sister has a better time putting it to work. Don’t be dramatic. Just admit that you are rather....lacking in terms of your food habits.” Another chuckle escapes Raven’s mouth, as she tilts her head slightly to the side. So many years have passed and this girl still refuses to let go of the sweets and other childish things. It reminded her of summer a little too much. She would never admit that she is the one who keeps replenishing their sweet stash. And she certainly won’t show it right now. 

“Ah, well, I tend to prefer the practicality of things, but I would say that the eye-patch does look rather....great. I’d say that’s one of the things that makes you different from Summer.” She mused with a small smirk creeping up in her own face. She simply switched the legs, shifting to another side as she did, still sipping her tea. 

“Well, adjustments are still something I’d rather do then do not. Would you like a massage, dearest? Maiden powers have a...bit of a knack in making things easier.” She laughs a little bit, mostly joking about it...but maybe not.

Her eyes snaps open as Raven speaks to her. She almost forgot she was there. Her mind too busy almost drifting off into a nice good nap. “Well I do only have one arm you know, as well as one eye.” despite being quite the shredded woman, she was a bit disadvantaged thanks to lacking in certain body parts.

“Sorry I don’t have the endurance you do, mama Raven.” if anything it was surprising to see how young the woman could still act and look. She never seemed to age a day, and if there was one thing Ruby picked up from Yang most… it was her sarcastic attitude and slight cockiness.

“You have two arms, dear. One of them is metal, but it doesn’t change the fact.” The woman shrugged slightly. She slowly changed her sitting position, shifting in her chair and rising one of her eyebrows while her crimson eyes stared into the face of her “daughter”. She still found it weird to refer to a child of Summer that way. 

“You could always pick a cybernetic eye as well if you so desired.” She adds after another moment of pondering about it. Her eyes now shift up and down, as she takes in the figure of the younger girl, taking another sip of her tea. Ozpin used to do that to hide a smile. Just as she did now. 

“Well, I figured with that impressive body of yours, you’d have similar stamina. Apologies. I shall adjust our hunting schedule.” She lets out a chuckle now. Being sarcasm and cockiness and did come from somewhere, right?

“I’m tired… really tired…”

“If I’m honest that last mission took a lot out of me, all that Grimm, I’m not sure how many I took down or at least tried to take down. But it felt like it was going on for hours.”

“So, so, many hours…”

“Why you have to be so dramatic Ruby?” The woman, who appears to be the same as she was many many years ago, and is not tired absolutely, says those words with a lazy sense of seriousness, as she calmly drinks some of her tea. 

“Perhaps you should work on your endurance, dear. Your sister would have lasted much longer.” She completely fails to understand a simple fact - Yang is not exactly the best standard for physical fitness, considering how much of a monster her daughter is

@glorifiedtyranny Wants to meet The Raven

“Adam. Wake up. Adam.” If she were honest with herself, she would freely admit that this was a bit of a bad idea. When she found him, wounded and attacked by Grimm within the forest around Mistral, she didn’t expect to swoop in, she didn’t anticipate herself reacting so violently and so quickly. Perhaps it was something about the prospect of losing yet another person who truly understood her. She lets out a soft sigh. Her fingers lazily ruffle through his crimson hair. His head is laid on her lap, as she sits under the shadow of a tree, awaiting his awakening. 

Her crimson eyes look onto his own. Hand traces from his hair, down further, onto his face, then cheek. She lets out another sign. The mask is placed back. She does not want to fluster him even further, now doesn’t she? And so the hand returns back to his hair. Unruly, short, but good to touch. “Adam. I know it probably feels rather comfortable, but we should move.” She had hopes her old saying will remind him that sleeping too much is a bad idea. Grimm might return soon. Protecting him more would be a bother. Or so she says to herself.

The Phantom Thief simply sighed in boredom. This tribe was easy to sneak into, what with suppressing her energy to near zero. Hence her simply sitting on a chair inside the main-tent, now waiting for the chieftain to come in. Once the other had entered, Kallen had made her presence clear, simply waving at her. “Security is pretty nice around these parts, but you should consider upgrading.”

The Raven chuckled a little, looking at the white-haired girl. This is not surprising. It was not that the security was bad it was her ability to sneak past it was higher than those who tried before her. But upgrading seemed like a good idea when she really thought about it.

"Well, it just so happens that we do not have many capable hunters on my tribe. It's a shame so I may have to correct that in the nearest future. But why did you decided to drop by? Something must have happened for you to come and visit. Well, no matter. I will go make some tea, I suppose." The woman let out a small sigh and went to the back of her tent, where the small kitchen was. It's rather convenient to have the technology even in the deepest of woods.

And that person that had came by to visit her tribe and wished for her presence was, in a great deal of surprise, would none other but Weiss Schnee. Alas, she indeed came here on her own accord, unarmed.

Ah, it has been quite a long while ever since she was last with the Branwen’s tribe, and that was an instance in which she was held captive by them.

Either way, here Weiss sat adjacent towards Raven’s position, stating “Long time, no see, Raven. I’m here to make but a simple request, really.” And thus, she would pause for a bit, not by hesitance, no, but alas, because she was choosing the perfect wording for the next statement. “I want you to sabotage one major Dust transport of my family’s Company.”

A rather bold, surprising request, really, but alas, considering that she’s shunned from the family, already? She has the liberty to do a multitude of things, this being one of those things, specifically. She’s going to reclaim that company, one way, or another, at a slow, yet gradual pace.

Seems that whoever took her in, managed to at least change her, to some degree, too.

"Well, that's a bit of a surprise. I see the princess finally grew up huh? Well, may I ask why would I listen to this request of yours? I find It rather easy to sabotage this operation and label yourself a hero." The woman tilted her head to the side and looked at the snow princess with curiosity. Let's see whatever this one will say. She does not really show any animosity, not at this point. SHe still feels nothing that would indicate ill intent from the other female, but she is weary. She could not allow herself to fall into the trap even if she wanted to take this chance to attack one of the Schnee's transports. Even more so, she would like to know their routes so she might do that again in the future.

"And another thing, what do you intend for us to do with the cargo if you are telling the truth? I do not work for free. We rarely get any requests to do a mercenary job, but we DO get them." She spoke in a calm, but in a somewhat welcoming manner. Her tribe will undoubtedly benefit if the operation goes well. And they would also benefit from it not being a trap. Let's see what the girl has to say before making any conclusions.

The woman looks at the Faunus before her with curiosity in her eyes. It seems like this one was her daughter's partner and it also seemed like she knows Adam, her student. Well, her former student. How...interesting. She wanted to know what happened to Adam so that he decided to use her teachings to cause chaos on this scale. How did he go downhill so fast? Perhaps it was wrong for her to save him back then? Well, nevermind, she should at least ask.

"Well, good day. You are...Blake, correct? I think you already know my name. My daughter might have told you about me. I came to speak, so no need to be alert. I mean no harm." She felt the need to say that because she went on the side of Salem the last time she encountered her brother's group. And she might face animosity at this particular moment. They didn't know her reasons, and something told her that Yang did not bother to protect her "dearest mother" in the eyes of the rest. But she needed to speak about this matter if she were to approach Adam,

"Oh, Ruby. What a pleasant surprise. It's been a little while now didn't it?" The woman turned her head to see the Person entering her small humble abode. Nobody's presence felt quite the same as this, so she just assumed it was her. The woman also raised an eyebrow looking the one before her. Well, this was...interesting.

"You changed a bit. It seems. Well, it's no matter. Would you like a cup of tea?" A little smile spreads across the tribe leader's face. Let's see how this goes this time. It is already established that this one shows up whenever she wants to. Asking her about it seems meaningless. And so she does not ask, she just pretends like that is how it supposed to be in the first place.
