All for One is actually Midoriya Hisashi, and in this essay i will

AND IN THIS ESSAY I WILL PROVE TO YOU THAT AFO AND THE MAN KNOWN AS MIDORIYA HISASHI IS IN FACT THE SAME PERSON

WHAT WE KNOW:

starting off with his name, “Hisashi” can means and can be read as “A long time ago”, this could be a play on the fact the man hasnt been around his family in 10+ years by itself, or the fact that Hisashi is actually a 200 year old man born from “a long time ago” (he probably picked his name to try to be clever lmao)

Hisashi was out of his wife’s and son’s lives at a very early stage to the point where we never got to see what he looked like, (running the underground can be busy work with All Might on your trail afterall, planning to get rid of OFA once and for all, failing and getting himself injured roughly around when Izuku was 9 years old, can’t exactly go back to your family when you look like an overgrown potato now can you?)

Horikoshi confirmed that Hisashi will be making an official appearance later in the story, AFO is currently held in tartarus but do you really expect he’ll stay there? Such a major and interesting villain rotting away in a cell for the rest of the series? absolutely not. he’s going to show up once again some way or another, and with Eri being in the story, a character that can reverse time on a person, it’s very possible he could end up being healed to how he was before 

As you all know the quirkless were in the majority 200 years ago, you were more likely to give birth to a quirkless child than a quirked one even if one or both parents themselves had quirks between them. AFO is likely either a first or second generation quirk user, who is more likely to pass off a quirkless gene to any offspring he might have (Izuku)

Izuku has a deep fascination with quirks, has a dozen notebooks filled with information around said quirks and figuring out the best ways to utilize them, i wonder who else is obsessed over quirks and their applications …… 🤔

In a quirked society where peoples appearances can be subtly affected outside of their own quirks (ex; Kirishima’s sharp teeth, Mina’s horns and eyes, Shinsou’s wild purple hair, tokoyami’s head, ect ect) Izuku is described as “plain looking” a few times, which will again tie back to AFO being in a time before quirks truly took its effects over people and their appearances, and im betting that AFO himself probably has a somewhat normal looking face 

You really think Mr “I sense All Might is Coming” didnt notice a handful of kids hiding behind a wall? Especially when one of said kids is All Might’s successor? AFO couldve used Izuku as a way to devastate All Might and defeat him in his grief, while ending the OFA line once and for all, and yet, he didnt

Also you all know how izuku cant properly tie a tie (because hes a disaster)

AFO wears fancy suits and YET is never seen wearing a tie

coincidence? I think NOT

Adding on:

MANGA SPOILERS

We know Izuku is unlocking the previous OFA holders quirks, something never done before. I think one of them even said “its finally happening” or something like that.

If AFO was Hisashi whose quirk is taking and using multiple quirks at once, wouldnt it make sense that his son may have inhereted the ability to use multiple quirks and thats why theyre unlocking?

We know that the first holder of OFA was quirkless then given power by AFO/had the quirk to pass quirks. And that they were brothers, which means AFO could have the same genes to recreate that quirk. Which means Izuku could have been born with a similar quirk, had the pinkie toe anamoly, and be written off as quirkless.

Anyway yeah AFO is prob Hisashi and god i cant wait for that reveal.

MORE EVIDENCE HAS BEEN PROVIDED

Hisashi is working “over-seas” 

in one panel when Shigaraki calls AFO we are briefly shown a city background, said city has some similarities to that in America

and then theres this manga volume cover

the one over shigaraki is poised as that of controlling a puppet

while the hand at the bottom is holding bakugou in his hand but is also poised under izuku in a more gentle way (it could only be seen as AFO showing he has bakugou in the palm of his hand) but still interesting none the less! 

theres also this:

With AFO’s injury he cant go back to his family, All Might took that away from him and AFO is absolutely pissed over it

CONTINUING EVEN FARTHER because someone on discord keeps giving me such juicy info:

AFO’s doctor

he is known as Dr. Tsubasa, the same Tsubasa that diagnosed Izuku has quirkless

Izuku grew up with a kid that had large red bat wings, and his name was Tsubasa

Tsubasa who we didnt see in middle school by the time the story starts

and then we are given this by Hirokoshi:

Tsubasa’s grandson was taken as a Nomu experiment, was is by convenience? A test stage? …or maybe a punishment? Younger Tsubasa bullied Izuku as kids, its very possible AFO found out his doctors grandson was doing so and lashed out, while making the elder Tsubasa cover his grandson going missing (oof)

now we’re moving onto Izukus quirk - more importantly how he uses it

both Izuku and AFO shoot off lightening when utilizing their quirk 

hell, when izuku uses more power red lines dance across his body

this could just be due to OFA being connected to AFO or could it be something else i wonder? 🤔

another note! Horikoshi is a big fan of Star Wars! he has even pitched in a collaboration of the series (link) and has a reference scattered here and there in his own series

a major one being AFO himself, or rather, his mask

now a ive never seen a star wars movie in my life but a quirk google search and -! 

He needs his mask and armor in order to live when mobile, doesnt that just sound familiar to a certain super villain?

Hisashi is all for one

He gave his last name to Tomura which is Shigaraki, but what if to hide his identity he merely changed up his name a bit before he was beat to a quirk stealing potato.

Hisashi Midoriya = Hisa Shigaraki

The name Hisa apparently means “long time, old story” depending on how it’s written it also means “long life”. This could target towards all for one’s lack of aging as he’s been around for years, if he merely was thinking up the name on the spot while meeting Inko he probably thought up the last name while noticing her Green hair. This is just a silly theory that makes some sense I guess
