Okay, I need to rant for a second because this keeps happening β age regression and pet regression are NOT the same as age play or pet play.
Regression is a coping mechanism, not a kink. Itβs something people use to feel safe, comforted, or to heal from trauma. Itβs gentle and healing β not sexual, not βweird,β not for adults-only spaces.
As an age regressor, itβs honestly so uncomfortable to keep getting comments asking if Iβm being βkinkyβ or if itβs βthat kind of thing.β Itβs not. Itβs really gross and disheartening to have something that helps me cope turned into something inappropriate.
Age/pet play are adult kinks. They belong in 18+ spaces, not where regressors are trying to feel safe. Mixing the two or treating them like theyβre the same thing just spreads misinformation and makes regressors β especially minors or trauma survivors β feel unsafe.
Please just respect the difference.
