I’m so excited to finally share my latest project with you! New Mexico is a custom hood heavily inspired by the vibe of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

The neighborhood is built around a central mystery involving the Gardeners' Club—a powerful organization rumored to be behind the strange disappearances of local teenagers. Between a corrupt Mayor, a fierce dietary war (chicken vs. vegetables!), and shady business deals, you’ll find plenty of drama to explore.

Hello, The Sims lovers! 🥰 Any vacation plans? Because the journalist trio in the next episode of the SIMWOOD series have their hands full!

This time, the studio is investigating one of the oldest families that helped establish it. There is a dark curse hanging over the entire family, and its last remaining member seems to be hiding in a hotel with a rather familiar name, White Oleander.

This episode took me about 5 months of work and is absolutely packed with references and easter eggs for both The Sims 2 and The Sims 2: Castaway 🐒

​I’m so excited to share my latest project with you! Devil’s Hollow is a custom hood heavily inspired by the dark vibe of American Horror Story.

​This project is based on specific seasons that inspired me the most - namely Murder House, Coven, Hotel, and Apocalypse. If you love supernatural stuff, you’ll also find characters, storylines, and secrets from the universes of True Blood and The Vampire Diaries.

I want you to know I'm so obsessed with the level of detail in your custom hood I spent an hour poking around in the lavandería basement as soon as I saw Howard in Saul's memories because I was so sure his gravestone would be somewhere there

Thank you so much! I'm thrilled that you appreciated all the little details. So you finally found Howard... congrats! :D It would have been even more detailed if Lalo were down there with him, but I really wanted his character to be alive and kicking in this neighborhood so you can play out his story. Od wielu dekad lokalni badacze obserwują tu niewytłumaczalne zjawiska – od przypadkowych zgonów, po elektryzujące przypadki i nagłe ataki szału. Nikt nie wie, czy da się je wytłumaczyć naukowo, czy stoją za nimi siły magii i przeznaczenia. Mroczna, niepokojąca aura tego otoczenia ściąga tu przeróżne indywidua: od skorumpowanych dygnitarzy po zdesperowanych uciekinierów i czarownice szukające mocy. Czy legendy okażą się prawdziwe i to właśnie tutaj dojdzie do apokalipsy?

Witam! Stworzyłam kolejne otoczenie [TS2] w większości na bazie serialu, tym razem American Horror Story (M*rder House, Coven, Hotel, Apokalipsa) - Czarcia Dolina.

Otoczenie powstało na Ultimate Collection, zawiera obiekty z preordera i Store (przeczytaj proszę plik txt., podaję tam linki). Wszystkie parcele zostały zbudowane przeze mnie, a po otoczeniu biegają nadnaturalne postacie z innych seriali/filmów. Polecam sprawdzać opisy!

Podaję dwa pliki, z simami i bez simów. Parcele domowe mogą się nieco różnić ze względu na osobiste przedmioty simów.

Big update for my custom hood!

Scripted notifications have finally been added to the game to provide a much deeper storytelling experience. Right now, I’m in the middle of translating everything into English so the neighborhood can be enjoyed by everyone.

Get ready to explore a world inspired by AHS: Coven, Hotel, Apocalypse, and M*rder House. The English version is in the works, so stay tuned! I’m doing my best to get it ready for you as soon as possible.

Sims 2 Fame WIPs

If you watch Tea Addict's Twitch streams (and if you don't, you should), you may have heard us mentioning a Fame mod in passing.

This is in the earliest of stages and is completely subject to my whims about what I feel like working on, but since I've posted WIP pictures in various places and because someone on Reddit asked, I'm sharing an update here, too.

Under the cut is a window into the chaos that is my WIP folder.

Custom phone call where you can sign up for an agent and opt into the fame system. Your Sim won't get famous unless you want them to. My husband made the icon for me 🤩

Recreation of the buffet from Superstar. Took a pause on this while I learnt about how to do shape keys in Blender from a Discord thread where I bothered Latmos about it 7 months ago. Will add cucumber sandwiches and other such delicacies soon.

Recording Studio booth - not functional yet. Need to work out why the sounds are playing so fast.

Theatre marquee that lights up correctly thanks to Crisps&Kerosene's extended standard material shader. Bonus director's chair as a dining chair and a bar stool, and advertisement bench in the background.

I'm taking my time, switching tasks to keep things fun and learning new things when I need to. I'll post occasional updates when I have something cool to show.

This is The Sims 2

Testing out my custom TS1-inspired ReShade preset at the Broke house. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with the results! The objects actually look like real 2D sprites now, especially with those outlines. It's definitely a step up from my Mashuga house post where I edited the screenshots manually in GIMP. The objects there still looked way too 3D for my taste. I also love the effect on the Sims skin since it gives them a cartoonish texture. But when I switch back to 3D mode, my Sims get slightly transparent and I can even see those weird lines showing through (I don’t know what they’re called, but the ones used to move the Sims). Then, for some reason this preset seems to have trouble reading the color pink. Brandi's kitchen walls should be pink here, but they appear white. Also, the dithering in the dark areas looks a bit chaotic compared to TS1 smooth dithering, so I might need to tweak the settings more.

Anyway, it's Beau's birthday (and no, that's not the present from Mr. Humble lol 😝)

unhidden maxis objects with modified objects.package

for a while i've been using objects.package modified by me to unhide most objects that sims use during interactions and it's now a MUST HAVE for me when it comes to no cc decorating!

they're all in the decorative -> all category and cost 0$ except for sellable objects like those from flower station, sewing machine, etc (yes, i unlocked these as well!), those have their original price so they won't be at the beginning of the catalogue

objects don't disappear if you share a lot with someone, so it's really cool for custom neighborhoods and lots

this file doesn't go into the Downloads folder, so please don't place it there, for this to work you have to replace the original objects.package here:

Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSData\Res\Objects (if you have Ultimate Collection or Legacy Collection the Mansion and Garden folder is called SP9)

i dunno if there's any potential consequences, but i recommend having a backup of the original objects.package file in case something goes south, personally my game is fine though and it's been like a year since i've modified the file

Hello, The Sims lovers 🥹 After months of work, the first episode of a new series is finally here — a nostalgic tribute to the golden era of the game and Studio Town from the original title.

This new story explores the lives of characters, creators, and Sim actors whose brightest days are behind them, as they search for a new path after the fall of STV Studios. Told through a slightly twisted lens, with a touch of dark humor and a wink to the audience, the series playfully parodies familiar stories we all know.

So hop on the nostalgia bus for anyone who misses the Superstar expansion pack, and imagine how it would look in The Sims 2 edition. I’d be incredibly grateful if you gave it a few minutes ❤️

This series is available in both POLISH (original) and ENGLISH. However, this is my first attempt at recording English dialogues, so please don’t be too harsh — I did my best! 👉👈

Korean Face Templates (happy 21st birthday ts2!)

Hi! These sims extracted by @ivy-sims 8 years ago caught my attention quite a while ago already and I recently remembered about their existence, so I decided to start turning them into face templates! Both of the templates also have an infant life stage thanks to @meowingcookie's file for non-default babyfied faces

For now I've only done templates based off faces of these 2 teens, because I like their faces the most, but I'm planning to do the rest as well

If you download the extracted sims themselves I heavily recommend changing their faces selecting for them one of these templates, because originally many of these extracted sims look REALLY wonky in other life stages, so creating these face templates genuinely had to be done

We are still trying to find an optimal solution uniting quality and affordability, and that requires looooots of testing.

Our plan is to sell physical copies at non-profit aka production & shipment price, and per request to avoid out-of-pocket expenses by printing stock without knowing if it would sell entirely. We hope to be able to fulfill printing requests soon and will be sure to update you about that.
