all in all in the incredibly unlikely scenario where kraftwerk gets inducted a video technician who has literally not contributed to their music in any way shouldn't be standing in florian's spot on the stage

i have no idea if the hall of fame has to follow some weird principles when deciding which lineup should represent the entire group or if it's influenced by productivity in any way (assuming that the most iconic lineup of band x didn't put out their most loved albums)

like i guess i'd know better if i was a fan of a group that's been through slightly more.....realistic changes in lineups

unpopular opinion but the current lineup of kraftwerk should have been nominated alongside wolfgang karl and florian because they’ve uhh actually been in kraftwerk longer and to not nominate fritz/falk/henning is like begging for ralf to beat on you

#you'd think they'd leave the current lineup out seeing how they've been involved in the production of only one original record #and falk in none lmao #but the music industry is just really good at not paying attention to that #i don't see a classic lineup reunion happening unless they somehow manage to dig up florian from wherever the fuck he is #karl and wolfgang are always within reach but whether or not they actually want this is ambiguous
