i think people really under sell the physical side effects of mental health disorders sometimes. like sure the depression and anxiety may be 'just in your head' but when what's in your head happens to disrupts your sleep schedule and prevent you from going outside regularly and eating consistent meals and exercising and generally taking care of your body. well it sure takes its toll huh.

For all its faults Tumblr has truly ruined all other social media for me because my friends all have Instagram and are all trying to get me on Instagram more but every time I open Instagram there are like fifteen things screaming for my attention and when I get over myself long enough to start scrolling it's like. Where is my chronological dash. Where is the following-only option. Who are these people. Why are there so many videos. Everyone is screaming at me. And then before I know it I'm thirty minutes into scrolling and I haven't seen a single thing that I actually care about. At least on Tumblr when I see stuff I don't care about I know someone I follow has found a new interest.

The whole "You must be gay with the way you like to argue with women." "So you must be a lesbian with the way you act so manly" "Confused people are trans" is not as tough as people may think it is.

It's sick, it's disgusting, it's derogatory it's dumb and I find it embarrassing for people who think like that.

We have come so far and we still have a long to go to get rid of stigmas associated with queers. Leave us out of your arguments and focus on actual problems.
