TRUMP’S PARKING GARAGE LAWYER GOES FULL MAGA FOR “THE BOSS”.

Alina Habba came off the bench to join Donald Trump’s legal team after a boatload of other

lawyers had resigned en masse in 2021. She is a New Jersey lawyer whose office is a short

drive from Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club, which she joined in 2019. Prior to Habba

becoming acquainted with the twice impeached, twice criminally indicted ex-President, she

had founded her own law firm and was the general counsel for a large parking and real

estate managing outfit.

Her record as Trump’s attorney is spotty. She did prevail in a couple of instances: getting a

Michael Cohen suit dismissed and one defamation accusation dropped by the accuser. But

she was less successful in several other cases, notably the E. Jean Carroll sexual assault and

defamation civil suit. She has been sanctioned and ordered to pay fines in other cases. Every

American is entitled to a zealous defense, but Ms. Habba has apparently taken that dictum

to new levels.

Most recently, her client had three more charges levied against him in the Mar-a-Lago

classified documents case. The superseding indictment concerned Trump allegedly ordering

subpoenaed surveillance tapes erased. Habba had this to say in an interview this past

weekend:
