i’ve died alone in my room 3000 times nothing you can say can hurt me.
i always wanted to be as warm as a freshly printed sheet of paper
“Beware of the stories you read or tell; subtly, at night, beneath the waters of consciousness, they are altering your world.”
— Ben Okri, poet and novelist (via secretsky88)

I went to a writing Seminar and had to write and read a text in front of a group of 20 people. A text about my family. I didn't even break down or anything, it was like confrontational therapy.
I admire people embracing communism, but like my dad lived in marxist flatshare as a student and it's tiring (He claims now he never really belonged there, but nobody believes that except him). I feel like communism in a capitalist society only works well with your mental health, if you were raised conforming to social norms. Basically, if you were raised with capitalist values then it's nice to wake up to communism.
But growing up with communist/marxist values, you grow up not getting other peoples emotional motivations in this society and it messes with you. It honestly does. It's like not knowing natural laws.
Also as child i never knew what other people thought. Like obviously i didn't grow up poor, i just wasn't allowed to have status symbols in solidarity with the (imagined) common men. No one of my peers knew this or understood this and by the age of 10 i stopped explaining it.
I am only thinking of this because i bought myself the backpack i always wanted, but it was expensive and has a brand name on it. I don't know if I can wear it to work because of that. It's like look at me spending money on my nice status symbol. I could scream about my emotional state and this idiocy. I really can't have nice things.
what's wrong babe you're barely anything
t-shirt that says i <3 when fictional characters make shortsighted and selfish decisions that will certainly make things worse and lead them to ruin
you ever feel like you were born with something rotten inside you and if people get close enough they’re gonna find out
my fatal flaw is that if i don't want to do something i just won't do it like mama raised a quitter for sure.. i'll be doing something and suddenly be like damn what if i just didn't 🤔. very freeing but also i suffer so many consequences
