Me
let's make it clear: if i say 'step on me' i don't mean it in a sexualised western way, i mean it in a 'my back hurts and someone walking on it will solve it' balkan style kind of way
big fan of anything that shuts my brain off for a little while
The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004)Â dir. Garry Marshall
Donât have kids if youâre traumatized and itâs going to get in the way of raising a kid safely and healthily and not in a way thatâs also gonna traumatize them in a different way. And donât have kids if you think itâs going to âheal yourself through the purest form of loveâ children and their childhoods arenât your guinea pigs to experiment with for your own healing
Wait. Um. Excuse you? đ¤¨
I think op was pretty clear? Donât have kids if youâre not in a place mentally where u can give them a healthy childhood. Traumatizing ur kids wonât fix your own trauma, all itâll do is create more traumatized people. Children are people and u canât just use them as some sort of fun project to get over your own issues
Sometimes breaking the cycle is not having kids
my toxic trait is carelessly getting dressed in front of open windows because if someone wants to look in, thatâs their problem

âonce you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.â
â Leonardo da Vinci
Alex (1976 â September 6, 2007) had a vocabulary of over 100 words, but was exceptional in that he appeared to have understanding of what he said. For example, when Alex was shown an object and was asked about its shape, color, or material, he could label it correctly. He could understand that a key was a key no matter what its size or color, and could figure out how the key was different from others. One day, he asked what color he was, and learned âgreyâ after being told the answer six times. This made him the first non-human animal to have ever asked an existential question. [x]
Alexâs last words were also âYou be good, see you tomorrow. I love you.â [x]Â
These were the same words that Alex would say every day when his owner left the lab.

âYou be good, see you tomorrow. I love you.â
a parrot actually said these words, and meant it, before he died.
Iâm getting choked up
Alex the parrot is actually one of my favorite animal intelligence stories/examples. What a smart birb.
Why am I emotional right now?
âI have eyes for nobody else. Youâre the only one Iâm fond of. I will hold you dear for eternity and keep on loving you.â
