very obvious in retrospect but a frappuccino does not make a good pre-workout snack
She felt very young; at the same time unspeakably aged. She sliced like a knife through everything; at the same time was outside, looking on. She had a perpetual sense, as she watched the taxicabs, of being out, out, far out to sea and alone; she always had the feeling that it was very, very dangerous to live even one day. [...] and yet to her it was absolutely absorbing; all this; the cabs passing; and she would not say of Peter, she would not say of herself, I am this, I am that.

apparently i’m more angry about this than i realized so
i had a doctors appointment this morning for something on my skin and after determining that it’s not a concern he spent the whole time lecturing me about how my blood pressure is high and it’s probably because i need to lose weight and exercise more and blah blah blah. mind you this is the first time i’ve met this man, i usually see one of the nps, and he didn’t ask me a single question about my eating or exercise habits. i expect to be told to lose weight whenever i go to the doctor but a) i have lost a lot of weight!!! and b) i’m a pretty active person, i’m not just sitting on my ass all day every day and it pisses me off that that’s just considered a given based on my fucking bmi, which even my middle school health teacher could recognize as a flawed metric for health because it doesn’t account for muscle mass at all. i may be fat still but i’m also pretty strong!! anyway now i have to get a blood pressure monitor to prove that it’s just white coat syndrome and not hypertension 🙄
i love roller derby so much i love getting sweaty and hitting my friends 🛼🛼

i just don’t believe all of these people on dating apps can be ethically non-mogamous. there’s just no way.
