I know everyone’s joking about Telemachus changing into his warrior of the mind outfit the second he got back to Ithaca, but I solely believe it was a magical girl transformation. I believe he clapped his hands, said “for the honor of Athena!” or something like that, and did a dramatic, sparkly transformation before charging off to go murder the suitors

My hyper fixations used to be normal things like a little book series or a TV show. Now it’s the symbolism of Polites’s headband and the way Odysseus carried it around with him even after he died, which is somehow included in every animatic? Not even joking, I could write a whole essay about this fucking headband. I need someone to come up to me and ask me about it so I can rant. Until then, my life has been ruined by this headband

This is literally one of my favorite moments from Telemachus in the odyssey that wasn’t included in Epic (for obvious reasons)

Telemachus: Yes, how sad… anyway- I need to sleep

Something I haven't seen people hyping up enough is Telemachus' development as a fighter in the Ithaca saga!!

In the wisdom saga he lost in a one-on-one fight with the direct intervention of Athena.

In the Ithaca saga he fought several suitors before being captured, only really due to the fact that he was outnumbered significantly. He genuinely held his own!!

So... Telemachus training arc w/ Athena? He learned so much!! I'm so proud of him!!

Now I love how Telemachus is portrayed in Epic, he’s an amazing character, I wouldn’t change a thing. That being said, he’s very different from how he was in the Odyssey (which is fine, I don’t think an accurate portrayal would’ve made since for the musical)

In Epic, he’s very much a sunshine like character. Almost childlike. While in the odyssey….

He’s just Odysseus from epic, but without the journessey

jason grace canonically ONLY ever cried once throughout the whole series. it was when gaea taunted him in his dreams, saying that he belonged no where, that he wasn't roman enough for camp jupiter, and wasn't greek enough for chb to accept him, and that though his father was the king of olympus, he was always considered second best by everyone, he was not enough. he woke up with tears in his eyes.

I'm seeing a lot of immediate acceptance for the casting of Thalia Grace. (I know there will be many people upset by the casting choice; i personally haven't seen it yet but i know it's probably already out there.) Now I need y'all to keep that same energy and go APOLOGIZE to Leah RIGHT NOW. I'm not forgetting the way y'all treat(ed) her!!! The hypocrisy is making me see red. These girls got the part because they're GOOD actresses and they (will) bring that character to life. I trust Rick and his judgement.
