Sirius ignoring other invites and refusing possible hangouts/dates for Valentine's for Remus's sake so that he doesn't get intimidated by thinking there's any competition even if he's still not sure if Remus is crushing on him specifically

Remus finally coming up to Sirius before bedtime on Valentine's Day eve and blurting about his feelings so poorly (and sweetly) he almost starts crying on the spot and ending with i don't want to lose you pads :( and I'm really really sorry I'll just go I didn't want to make you uncomfortable

he will support every fashion choice, but the moment he sees a straightener or a pair of scissors in his boyfiend's hands, he is ready to personally intervene.

sirius can dress like a glitter-covered unicorn if he wants, but those beautiful black curls are where remus draws the line

so imagine; they've finally confessed, they've been dating for a while but they've never done it or anything more than kissing. remus isn't exactly shy, he's done it with boys before, but sirius hasn't. so when they finally get the chance sirius is so excited and turned on and he's laying back on the bed. but then remus goes to take off his belt. and he just can't. he flinches and he cries because he didn't do anything wrong, right? is this what couples do? they hurt each other? so he braces, and he waits for the crack of leather against skin but it never comes. and when sirius opens his eyes remus genuinely looks horrified. and then remus holds him and says it's okay, he loves him, he would never hurt him and they'll try again next time
