We've only got so much time / I'm pretty sure it would kill me / If you didn't know the pieces of me are pieces of you

the tragedy of buffy to me in early seasons is that she’s convinced she’s not a normal girl dealing with normal girl things even though everything that happens to her is an extremely cogent metaphor for normal girl things, such as when you’re filled with thoughts of violence, or when your boyfriend starts acting like a different person after you have sex with him, or your mom grounds you for being irresponsible even though you ARE responsible it’s just that nobody understands what you’re going through, or when the entire world conspires to convince you that your sexual desires are inherently evil and you will be punished for having them. many of these things are normal girl experiences under the patriarchy but buffy doesn’t know that bc she’s in the literalization torture labyrinth
I want to be very clear: I did not schedule this to post on Easter weekend.

the way that while sick and actively dying, bobby nash saved his team one last time. he performed the surgery on hen. he fixed ravi's oxygen. he administered the cure to chimney. he made sure that each of them got out, knowing that he wouldn't, and then he locked himself away from them all. he kept them all alive. he got them out. he saved them. his last act was keeping his family safe.
i think tim has truly forgotten why people tune into 911 in the first place. yeah, big disasters is a part of it, but what we loved about them was the TRUE driving force of the show: character dynamics and drama. that and 7 foot tapeworms up the ass but i digress
Sir please thats my emotional support stack of books that i havent read

Ron Weasley: “...And did I do finger guns back at her?”
Harry Potter: “...yes.”
one of the funniest parts of RWRB is Henry obliviously carrying on doing everything humanely possible to ensure that Alex falls in love with him and then being the surprised pikachu meme when Alex actually does
Alex, blatantly flirts with Henry while pretending he’s not attracted to him and they’re somehow enemies.
Henry: chokes on air.
