My problem is that I fall in love with words, rather than actions.
I fall in love with ideas and thoughts, instead of reality.
And it will be the death of me.

The life of an English major
HARRY POTTER HISTORY MEME: two historical events [2/2] → The Founding of Hogwarts
Hogwarts was founded around 990 A.D. by two wizards and two witches: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. The four were widely described as being the most brilliant witches and wizards of the time.

Meet the Officers!
Gabby: Gabby can be easily described as dedicated, sweet, and friendly. Her ability to create a welcoming environment in a new setting should not be overlooked in regards to her overall charm. Her amazing listening skills, not to mention her quirky sense of humor make anybody feel at ease. She is always down to discuss literature, film, or the general events of the day with anybody who will listen to her lively opinions, and it is these opinions which bring people out of their shells and allow them to hold a discussion free of judgement. Aside from her ability to develop a friendship with anybody, she is a spectacular leader and well equipped with the skills of compromise and delegation. In this sense, she doesn't allow anybody to feel undervalued or left out. Her confidence and drive compel her to make the best of any situation, whether good or bad, and showcase her relentless friendship.
Greta: Greta can lighten any mood with her cheerful attitude. She is wonderfully dedicated to Sigma Tau Delta and has already put so much into it. If you ever need someone to cheer you on, Greta’s your girl. She has an unwavering faith in people; a faith that often inspires them to continue on despite the circumstances. There’s no frowning or brooding around Greta—her exuberance won’t allow it. She is always willing to get involved and lend a hand, through leadership or through volunteering.. She is supportive of the people and groups around her whenever they need her. She is sweet and funny and you can’t help but enjoy being around her. She is always kind and a strong right-hand woman to our president. Her thoughts are always towards her goals beyond this “provincial life” and with her quiet determination she is bound to accomplish that and much more.
Rachel: Rachel is someone who can make any situation a fun one. She is happy, kind, and has a great sense of humor, which she openly shares with those around her. She loves to read and write, and has a talent for coming up with great ideas, one of the many things that make her a vital part of our team. One of the best ways to describe her is well-rounded. She is the kind of person whose hobbies, skills, and diverse personality traits constantly surprise those getting to know her. She is a bookworm and an academic, but she is also a member of a sorority on campus, and has superhero knitting powers that allow her to make amazing 3D works of art. When she isn't doing any of the aforementioned activities, you can find her line dancing, racing obstacle courses, and doing yoga. She has the rare and valuable ability to be her own person and radiates positivity in all that she does.
Danielle: Danielle is a force of nature. She is the one you want by your side in the trenches. She is witty and sarcastic. Things are calm and then WHAM! she hits you with her knowledge. Although you may not know it, she is one of the smartest girls around. One of her greatest strengths is the ability to move between groups—she’s just as comfortable discussing Harry Potter as she is talking about Sunday night football. Her dedication to projects continues to astound me. For as long as I’ve known her, she has had her studies focused on Faulkner. And while she may not always like her chosen path, she never flinches, strays, or gives up. She has all the confidence of a diva, all the intelligence of a doctoral student, all the sarcasm of a snarky side-kick, and most importantly—she has all the qualities of an amazing friend. Danielle is a bad ass Disney princess who nature rebels against because they just can't handle her awesomeness!
