Overall, these guys are hypothetically only a one-off encounter in the entire story or setting or whatever because this would be the only solitary instance alluding to the existence of humans in this world, mostly because the lore of the Giant is intrinsically tied to that unit of soldiers encountering it

Otherwise, the whole thing is focused on anthropomorphic animals doing fantasy stuff
