I was re-watching season nine, and the whole situation in this season from episode 3 to 9 just annoys me so much...

Like Cas was at his worst, and weakest but Dean decided to kick him out of the bunker and refused to work with him afterwards all because he chose to trust a random angel over cas...I mean if tables were turned and cas would've done this, dean would've been so angry with him like he was at the end of season 8 because he felt betrayed and like cas didn't trust him.

But in this scenario, Cas went through hell and still didn't take it out on Dean because he left him alone at his lowest.

And Dean never even apologized, i get that he was sorry and felt bad, but he never expressed that to cas.

And this is just messed up

I mean, just look at cas' face here after Dean yet again tells him they can't work together and doesn't give him a proper reason either

He looks so sad and hurt

Just got reminded of this moment and the way Misha is Jensen's safe place and comfort person 🥺💙💚

I couldn't remember what happened then, so I went and found the video.

Basically, Jensen was getting annoyed about fans' requests for him to be their "dancing monkey". They gave him a script to play a scene from Hitch and he refused. Then Misha appeared out of nowhere, gave him a kiss and suddenly Jensen was all up for playing the scene.

"I've just spend 10 or 15 minutes squashing the whole Dean and Cas situation so huh they'd like us to make out now."**

Then they play the scene and Jensen is like:

Afterward they have a long discussion about kissing with tongue and their mutual experience with that in the business.

They're still discussing it when Jensen has to go, which is why Misha looks so sad at the end.

**Sidebar here, but I've just rewatched that panel and it hit me in the face just how far we (and Jensen and Misha) have come.

It was a time when people used to cheer when Jensen said things like "the whole Dean and Cas thing has been blow out of proportion, so Misha and I were glad that they snuffed it a little bit (in season 9)" or "I don't think there is anything secret about their relationship even though a lot of peope wish there was. And I certainly know that Misha and I don't play that so..."

Shipping was so very taboo at the time. I used to hate how people got mad everytime someone dared to talk about it or how they cheered everytime an actor said something that went against it.

I feel like this has progressively disappeared since Cas' confession and with Misha's support. I mean, nowaday Jensen himself talks openly about destiel and offers his support and validation to it (which is not to say he necessarily likes it btw).

We've come so so far and this makes me very happy^^
