Blog Status
In light of the news concerning Sorachi's old one-shot, Dandelion, being adapted to anime, I want to share that this blog of mine will continue to be dedicated to Gintama. I probably won't be reblogging Dandelion-centric posts unless they're directly related to Gintama (like a gif or fanart crossover). It'll be the same if Sorachi ever debuts a new manga series. I originally created this blog (which is 10 years old this year) just as an outlet for my Gintama obsession, and that is how it will remain.
That said, I'm looking forward to revisiting Dandelion in anime form and seeing how they expand it into a handful of episodes. There are sketches of other characters he included (at least, in Gintama volume 1) where you can see his familiar style of character design starting to shine through. It isn't everyday that someone gets their debut work adapted like this, so I'm happy for Sorachi! But I hope someday we will get to see a completely new work from him, too. 🙂
EDIT: And it looks like we are getting a new work from him, which is Class 2-B: The Hero Destroyers. Likewise, I will not be reblogging that series here unless it has a crossover with Gintama through fanworks and such.
