“Everyone’s dead wife is a Kandra”
Me and my friend discussing a Mistborn theory about Mare being alive, which we jointly added to by saying that she was the same Kandra as Paalm, and therefore by this logic, all dead wives in the cosmere are the same Kandra, making Evi the roshar Kandra.
(We are so smart guys we figured it out)
They're a ten, but they want to eat your bones.
Guys imagine being a kandra with an iron spike and being near a strong magnet. Like no people can’t push and pull metal inside your body but the giant magnet in the lab can. The core of scadrial certainly can. These kandra have the best internal compasses
Kandra under the Lord Ruler:
"We obey the Contract. Without rules we are no better than wild beasts. We must always act with dignity befitting our noble place as servants of the Lord Ruler."
Kandra under Harmony:
17 Kandra surround an undulating mass of limbs chanting "ONE MORE LIMB! ONE MORE LIMB!"
The mass in the middle shouts, "Okay! I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna make another leg!"
A new leg emerges from the mass, the other Kandra lose their shit over it.
Kandra Klaus, inspired by this meme:
Thinking about Paalm and MeLaan.
Because Paalm fell in love with a human, and let herself fall so in love that she defied Harmony for him. She loses her sanity and her life because of her decision to defy Harmony for Wax, and she suffers greatly.
MeLaan watches all this happen. She’s working with Wax and Wayne to stop her. So when she notices herself falling in love with Wayne, falling so in love with him that she doesn’t know if she could leave him if she waits, do you think she remembered what happened to Paalm? Was a part of the reason she chose to leave because she has seen what happens to a kandra who defies Harmony for love?
Just thinking about the parallels between them. MeLaan is what could have happened if Paalm had obeyed Harmony. Paalm is what could have happened if MeLaan let herself love Wayne.
