Hello! I go by Rabbit or Rory (he/him), and I have returned once again from the clutches of work to write - albeit on a much smaller scale! I've been here on and off for around 10ish years, so if you've met me before it's great to see you again!
This is a blog for Eden Muir, a (slightly) vengeful spirit character developed for a D&D game set in an urban environment. Explores themes of existence after death, being someone elseโs failed project, changing perspectives, learning to love yourself as you are, and learning to reconcile anger.

Anyone whoโs played with me before knows that Iโm the slowest guy. It can take me weeks sometimes to reply to things depending on work and my health. However, if itโs been longer than that, feel free to nudge me a little just in case I missed something.
I tend to write multi-paragraph style, with small text but otherwise minimal formatting. I use icons sometimes, but not always. If you would prefer I use normal text size / no images / etc, let me know - I can accommodate these things. If thereโs art of Eden in icons, I made it. Any commissions or work by other artists will be credited as such.

Iโm not even sure if itโs necessary to add any more, but of course: itโs not cool to godmod, control other peopleโs characters, kill each other without discussing combat first, badger people for speedy replies, etc. Please be a nice human. Not interested in talking with people that are racist, anti-LGBT, etc.

I will always, always, always tag triggers for you, especially if you list them in your rules page. If I miss one, or if youโd like me to tag something new, shoot me a message so I can add it to my tags! Violence and other NSFW content types will always be tagged an thrown under a cut. Edenโs character has a lot of violence and body horror themes, so if those arenโt for you tread carefully.
Triggers for me: Please tag all images of broken teeth with tw:teeth or something similar. I have just about every iteration blacklisted. Additionally, please tag all content involving a/b/o threads/art/etc and, for lack of a less loaded word, โx humanoid character has/gets/is โcursedโ with x animal traits/whatever nowโ threads/etc as well. I have just about every iteration of both of these blacklisted (I think). Any general a/b/o tag will work just fine; for the latter, I suggest โanimal traits twโ or โzoomorphism twโ. If you post this thatโs fine, but I might not be able to follow you.
Deeply personal reasons for me as an individual and as a professional / animal advocate - For clarity: hybrid or shapeshifter characters that actively deal with their hybridity and its consequences are not the same thing. I have a problem when humans put on animal characteristics like costumes for aesthetic purposes / kink / amusement / etc.

Writer and character are both of age, so shipping is fine as long as the other character and writer are of age as well. I will not write with underage muns at all, full stop.
If weโve interacted and you ship a thing, whether it be romantic or platonic, you should let me know. I probably ship it too, but tend to second guess my reading of things like that.

I have a complicated relationship with writing games. I love them in concept and love getting to send my friends things and answer questions / draw prompts / etc, but the havoc they bring to my notes can make it impossible for me to run a blog. Please donโt reblog memes from me if you donโt follow me, or if we donโt interact - makes it too easy to lose replies when notes are a mess.
Hello, it's been a bit and I've missed you! This blog is currently a mess, and the state of the notes, etc, is stressing me out and making want to avoid it or throw a bunch of things out. This happens to me a lot actually, especially in spring, so I'm just going to treat this as spring cleaning a few months early.
Things that are New
All of my OP verse stuff for Eden I'm going to move to @malpractising - if this applies to you and you haven't yet, please go follow me over there. The verse I use here is just going to become a pre-timeline verse there prior to whatever shared timeline the crew sets up.
I'm probably going to keep my activity here a little lower because my sideblogs are just more busy - at least for a little longer. What really should probably happen is setting up Cora as the main blog and making this a sideblog, but I'm not ready to do that in my heart. OTL
I'm going to set up a thread tracker, for my sanity.
I'm going to unfollow people I don't interact with, that don't follow me back, or that haven't been active in around a thousand years or so

Things that have been recently started for me by others ( or move them - inb4)
A starter or inbox call, once I've cleared out everything and can tell what's what

I'm considering moving all of Eden's OP verse things / interactions over to @malpractising because that makes organisational sense and not much would change if I did. It might make this blog a little less cluttered / more approachable too from a drafting perspective.
But I'm indecisive and haven't wholly settled on that yet. If that's relevant to you / you have opinions, let me know!

I think I've got enough of this done to feel okay with sharing it. I was originally going to keep everything for Eden's part for Lala's fully OC Pirate Crew here, but I think it's estranged enough from his base content at this point to warrant its own space to keep everything together.
So, the verse for that is now going on a sideblog - you can follow weird ship's doctor Eden on malpractising.
the paper is a little dirty and crinkled, but the captain is grinning and seems excited to hand it over. he definitely isn't sure what it was meant for though. โ heehee, what'd i win??!! โ
This wasn't what he meant with this game, the spirit was fairly certain, but it was nice to feel included. This really highlighted that Luffy was a noisy person, and one nice thing about that he supposed was that he could usually tell roughly where he was located at any given moment. He utilised that now, to answer the pirate captain's question.
I'm just saying, Elwyn is a soft and reassuring being with a Welsh stutter.

He hides what could have been a grin behind the folded arms that rested over bent knees, single cloudy eye scanning back and forth in the empty middle distance as if reading something invisible as the other spoke. Something akin to sadness, or maybe empathy, flickered through his expression though.

He listened intently, dragged careful fingertips over the surface of the card where he could feel differences in the texture of the paper. Not that he could really determine what they meant, but the fact that time had been taken to make this was a sweet gesture in itself.

Saw a bunch of these on the dash today and they looked fun and I wanted to play too. OTL Eden's was way harder to put together than Cora's - he's just too afraid of many people and many things. His type is apparently either soft disaster or sarcastic weirdo, no middle sliders I guess.
and I'll write a scene where our muses kiss, even if they aren't shipped together. it is it's own thing and doesn't have to lead to an official ship. a "what if scenario"
