Hi there! I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but are you aware that some of your old posts have disappeared? I have been surfing your archive and, using the Wayback Machine, the old ACarchive page; a few I've discovered are missing include Liam O'Brien, Pierre Bellec, La Volpe, and Machiavelli. Curiously, many of your AC works are alright.
Oh I know, I deleted them all. I made a post about that not too long ago, really. I only really plan to keep the stuff around that seemed influential to people (such as The Fall series, the Prostitute Series, and the Irish Father). Because of harassment out of the fandom and how the fandom mistreated me, I found no joy in AC anymore, and wanted to be done with a lot of stuffâŠsoâŠsorry. ^^ââ All of that if not most is gone now.. ^^â
That is really a shame to say itâs not worth keeping. Â I think anything that is a big influence to one person *is* a big influence, otherwise youâre saying that one person does not matter. Â After all, itâs not like tumblr is charging you for hosting the posts.
Ummm in reference to your words and your tags, I will say dear: this is about what I want in the endâŠnot what everybody else wantsâŠAlso, it isnât about popularity for me as I would be MORE than happy to be in a quiet little corner in my part of the world but somehow managed to garnish 2k+ followers for some insane reasons. It was âwell, likes vanish into obscurity so I see no reason to keep that hanging around whereas as a reblogged post if tagged would be easier for folks to findâ.
I am sorry youâre obviously super angry at me for taking down my stuff when I had to go nearly half a year being sent death threats, demands for more content, constant anger/resentment I was where I was in terms of standing in the fandom, how loud my voice was, and how I chose to portray character(s), ect.
It was NOT healthy, and it was not worth it. Even after I stopped, people were groaning my stuff wasnât being hidden behind a read more post properly when thatâs Tumblrâs fault and not mine.
Also, to furthermore demand I think of EVERY person who probably likes every little thing I do is silly⊠and not to mention puts my health at risk when nobody is taking the time to think about me. Sorry if that sounds selfish, but I do have to look after myself too. =/;
That goes to show pleasing everyone is flat-out impossible. People get angry to the point of death threats over the silliest and dumbest things. Iâm sorry thereâs not an ultimate solution to those things, though the least I would do is report & block them. I hope you did for them!

The end of 2015 was very difficult for me. Â I tried to hold hope for 2016, and very soon it improved. Â Even while struggles remained through the year, there were many bright spots including the social circle I had on tumblr, and the positive halves of fandoms. Â In the spring, I still remember vividly the morning I found the first Bellec fic, it caught me totally by surprise and I was ecstatic that it was 9.4k words long. Â That previous weekend and Monday morning had been going badly, up till that awesome change. Â My friends were thrilled as much; it was exciting to see this unpopular character get this level of attention. Â Then a couple of weeks later I was ecstatic again to get the personalized letter. Â It was heartwarming also to see the compliments pouring in that weren't from me. Â The last fic was another thrilling surprise, although heartbreaking in the end. Â Honestly I wasnât so happy over that tear-jerker initially, but it was a line from that work that stuck with me the most.
I always try to tell people when I like their work, I like hearing back too, but if I wrote every time I was thinking about any part of those three it would be flat-out annoying. There also is a point where something is too personal to share... Anyway, in the two and a half years your works have stuck with me the whole way.  Just the fact that they happened is important enough to me. Iâve often wondered impression theyâve made on my fellow fans, too, and anyone else who happened to read them.
So I hope everything gets better for you, and always know that your time and effort is appreciated :) <3
I realize that I'm not someone who shares my writing or artwork publicly, but I still have something to say about all the messages on Tumblr and AO3 demanding for attention.
People are often complaining that a lack of positive feedback costs them motivation. They rant continuously how important it is to hear that their work is loved, and that need seems insatiate until hundreds or thousands of compliments have been received.
Let me say something I learned about life many years ago: you will not always know how you affect people. The smallest action or fewest words may ring with someone for life, for better or worse. Fanfiction and fanart is no different, the way of circulation on the internet means that you wonât know who sees it, much less the full meaning it may have to them. Sometimes they wonât have a means to contact you and give praise, and usually they wonât be able to fit into words how much significance your work has to them.
Perhaps I stand alone in my opinion, that every individual matters and I have accepted the inability to know all of the influences I make. I wish that more of you would be proud of every good memory youâve made for somebody, no matter if itâs just one person, or if it wasnât life-altering to them. This juvenile need for popularity is harming the people who do love your work; they are made to feel that their opinion does not matter, when you abandon or delete a work strictly for the reason âit only had like 10 likes/comments/kudos/reblogs.â What about those ten people? They donât matter? You only did it for fame?
