I'm back!!!

I have so much to tell you as well.im just going to put all my stuff away then I'll tell you about everything.

I've got so much to tell you and so much more to look into. This new planet thing, if I can even call it that, is so very interesting. I'm very very excited to study it

Turns out I crash landed on the best possible planet. I don't even know if this would classify as a planet actually. Once I get back to somewhere I can do some proper tests, I'll share my findings but for now I'll tell you this. The planet I found is alive. The entire thing is made up of tiny organisms. Everything about this planet is constantly moving. Even the rocks and the soil. I'll need better equipment to do further testing. Not much of my equipment survived the crash.

I've also found some caves that I plan to explore tomorrow. I hope to see how deep these organisms go

I will be going to do some research on a planet outside of communications range so don't worry if you don't hear from me for a while. I will soon be back with many many new ideas.

Does anyone want to volunteer tone a test subject? I have finally completed my device and just need a test subject. I'm calling it a Magnet Shield but the name is still in the works.

Trust me, it'll work and you won't get hurt at all. It's 100% safe. Well maybe not 100% but what is that safe?

I can explain how it works if you want or we can just get right to the action if that's better

If I don't, there will be very bad consequences for you when the magnets are activated.

Hmmmm maybe I should just do one servo to be safe... Nah. It'll be fine

*he starts working on Slash's servos*

Okay so what I'm doing now is taking this superconducting magnet and hook it into your system so you can run a little bit of electricity through it.

That will create a magnetic field around it. I'm going to be putting a north polarity in your left servo and a south polarity in your right. Don't turn them on at the same time or your servos will just be stuck together until you turn one off

In theory, this should be able to allow you to manipulate an opponent or disarm them and even block a physical attack. If you can somehow figure out what polarity your opponent has you can either repel them and their attacks or attract them. Maybe stick their first you your hand and get them while they're confused or something.

Once we're done with this, we'll start slow to make sure you know how to use these magnets before we try anything that might kill you.

*She seems to not really care about the mechanics behind it, and only wants to be stronger*

Yes. It does. It can also weaken you if you don't use it properly but I'm sure you'll have it first try.

It is a bit more of a defensive device but you can definitely use it for offence if you want to.

You should now be able to deflect physical attacks or take their weapons away.

*he puts a bolt on the table in front of Slash*

Okay I want you to try to activate the magnets in your left servo to see if you an move this bolt with the magnets.

Me Slash just focus electricity to servo right?

*She does so, and the bolt does magnet to her hand. But there is an issue, the magnet in her hand attracted to her head. It seems to have scrambled her circuits a little, even though she turned the magnet off soon after*

Ha HA this kicks aft. Me Slash can do SO MUCH with this. Ha HA

Okay. This is good. I just need to rewire some things to make sure it doesn't stick you you while you use them. I'll make a note of that. For now, can you try to use your other servo to try to push the bolt away from you.

*Brainstorm pulls out a datapads to start taking down notes of stuff he needs to change*

Here, let me see your servo again. I can probably tweak a few things to fix it for you

*She reaches her hands out to Brainstorm*

Me Slash feel weird, you Brainblast know why?

Hmmmm... That's interesting. I'm not sure why it would do that.

Okay. Let's see if I can move these wires around so you don't get stuck to your own servos.

*Brainstorm tinkers with the wires and magnet. He accidentally connects the wrong wires and his helm is suddenly magnetized to Slash's servo. His helm seems to have disconnected the wires because the magnet deactivates as soon as he hits it*

That wasn't supposed to happen... Everything looks good though so I'll just close it up and we can continue

Me Slash think that sound good. What you want now?

I was going to... Do something. What was I trying to do? Sword! I was going to hit you with a sword and you have to block it!

*Brainstorm pulls a heavy looking sword out from behind the table they're working at.*

But before I do that, we have to make sure there's no cameras.i won't have any dragging bastards stealing my work.

You'd better not have a hidden mic on you or anything. If you share my secrets to the world, I'll come for you.

Yeah. If anything goes wrong, I can just fix you right up. I'm smarter than any medic you'll find. It'll be no problem

*Brainstorm is frantically looking around the room looking for cameras or mics so that nobody can steal his ideas*

*He slowly makes his way to the door to lock it while still looking around for the camera he knows is there. He locks the door then turns to Slash*

You're not allowed to leave either. You'll tell my secrets to everyone. You have one of my devices. I can't let that get out.

*He leans on a table and lakes intense eye contact with Slash*

Yes! Okay. Uhm... What was the experiment? Right! Okay. I'm going to swing this sword at your head and you need to use the magnets to deflect it.

*Brainstorm picks the sword back up off the table*

You can rest after this. I've got a perfectly good table over there where you can rest and nothing bad will happen to you.

*He gets ready to swing the sword*

Me Slash guess. Which servo me use? They different right?

They are! Okay. Uhm.... Let me have a look at my notes. There's got to be something there that'll tell us which servo to use.

Y'know, I'm also feeling a little dizzy now.

*Brainstorm finds his datapad and assumes he's feeling dizzy from hitting his helm. He writes "som't gey nesr hekn" (dont get near helm) and then goes back through his notes to try to find it*

This is taking too long. You can just use both servos... Yeah. That should work. Something will happen.

Me Slash ready then...

*The sword is swung, and as it's being attracted to her left servo it's getting repelled by their right, causing it to, as it's stuck to her hand, and swing onto his workbench, knocking everything off.*

[brainstorm-standing]

Oh no.

*There were a couple other random devices on the workbench. Something makes a popping noise. Brainstorm thrown himself at Slash so they're both taking cover behind the workbench. A small explosion is heard before there's a bunch of greenfoam on the other side of the table.*

Glad it was that one the got damaged and not this one.

*Brainstorm picks up on of the devices covered in foam and sets it on a different workbench.*

Me Slash think we need test on something bigger. That not enough damage for Slash.

It's supposed to be more for defense... Wait...

If you take this sword in the hand that pushed it away and then activate the magnet, you should be able to launch it across the room.

You can push things out of your hand and it can go very far very fast. Here try.

*Brainstorm hands them the sword*

*She magnets the sword to one hand and then unmagnets it while they do an aggressive shove towards it, sending it flying and embedding it into the wall*

Now if you could aim with some good accuracy then everyone would really be in trouble.

How about this, we do some target practice and if anyone tries to enter through that door, they're the new target and you try hitting a moving target.

*Sideswipe opens the door to the lab without warning.*

Hey Brainstorm! I was wondering if you'd be able to upgrade my-...

*He notices Brainstorm barely able to stand.*

Do you want me to come back some other time?

*Slash tries to magnet propel the sword at him but misses and knicks his shoulder. She forgets to turn off her magnets before going to check on him to make sure she hadn't killed him, touching his head to try and wake him. Once she sees he's fine, they go running out the door, seeing their chance*

SLASH NO!!!!

*Brainstorm jumps over Sideswipe to peruse Slash but ends up hitting his helm on the top of the door and passes out right beside Sideswipe*
