2017 is going to be the year of succeeding out of pure spite
The reason I like reading a book in one day is because I love watching people look at the size of the book in pure horror and then back at me like I just became terrifying in their eyes
“no homo” I whisper as I look at my garden of pea plants. The progeny had expressed a 1:2:1 ratio of phenotypes. I am Gregor Mendel.
Hi! I'm Julie. I just created a study blog, and I'm hoping you can check it out!

Tuesday: What if I don't get into community college
I'm here for my smart girls.
I’m here for the smart girls that society finds annoying.
I’m here for the smart girls who heard groans from the boys when they got a certificate in assembly.
I’m here for the smart girls that poured their souls into school and academics because it’s the only thing they felt capable of doing.
I’m here for the smart girls who use their studies to hide their insecurities, those who focus on school to try and blot out the problems in their lives.
I’m here for the smart girls that are treated as annoying for doing well, whilst the smart boys are encouraged to be proud of their achievements.
I’m here for the smart girls who didn’t want to tell their lab partner what they got on the test, because they knew the boys would scoff and make remarks.
I’m here for the smart girls who cried themselves to sleep because nothing they did would ever be good enough for society.
I’m here for the smart girls that told society to go fuck themselves and fought their way out of their struggles and went on to do something amazing.
I’m here for all the smart girls that didn’t make it into the history books or science journals.
I’m here for the smart girls. We’re not going to take your shit any longer.
i’m 1000% here for the smart girls

Random Study Tip
When you’re studying or trying to memorize something, say it out loud in a weird accent. The more creative your accent is, the more likely you’ll remember it.
hi. :) this may be a dumb q, but what exactly is revision? what's involved in the process?
Hi! To start off, you need to figure out how you define revision. Well to me, revision is actually the same as studying. It just sounds fancier I guess. To revise, you would review everything you need to know. Reading, highlighting, and taking notes are all a part of the process. Figure out what you need to know, write down the answers, make sure it's easy for you to understand. However, some people believe that revision is just reminding yourself of what you need to know and they say studying is reteaching yourself. To revise in this case, you would need to already know the material. Since you already know it, you just need to jog your memory. Flashcards, practise tests, and rereading study notes help a lot during this process. Ask questions and link concepts. Mind maps would be one of the best ways to revise because you're looking at the big picture instead of all the irrelevant details. I hope this was helpful. Thanks for the question!

The world is moving so fast that the man who says it can’t be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it.

Hit those daily goals, and those weekly, monthly, yearly goals will fall before your eyes.
This advice isn’t too shabby.
