Idk who needs to hear this. But:
1. Shouting doesn't make you right.
2. Making someone so viscerally upset by personally attacking them and by ignoring their points and by ignoring facts/purposefully misunderstanding facts - making someone cry/break down... ALSO doesn't make you right.
so what do u think about plays
i like how in a theatre time and space are necessarily metaphorical. i don’t like how plays always have to begin with someone walking onstage and talking. too many directors try to work around this by having someone walk onstage and brood in silence for a moment before talking. this is worse.
If you were directing a play, how would it begin?
bagpipes at the back of the auditorium so everyone turns their heads and when they’ve turned back around the play has already begun
what kind of cookie are you

the only difference between me and a medieval peasant is that I can make a Spotify playlist to express my feelings
medieval peasant: Behold, friends; i have composed the perfect List of Plays to express my agonies and woes in this trying time!
medieval peasant’s friends: this list be just Toxicke by Brittany of Spears 20 times in a row, thou canst not play this
medieval peasant: i canst, ‘tis my lute
If we are being honest this was evident even before quarantine but here’s another proof that children from lower income families don’t have the same opportunities as more privileged kids
I think the important, specific thing that this undeniably points out is that internet should be a public good. We need net neutrality, we need to fight back against companies that monopolize internet service provision, and we need to ensure that rural and poor areas have high-speed internet access.
Schools require students to have internet access outside of school. Students from low-income families have been lagging in their schoolwork whilst their higher-income peers forge steadily ahead, their academic careers bolstered by easy access to research, study materials, and contact with teachers and tutors.
The law is lagging too, and we all know it’s not because of ignorance. Childhood poverty creates so many disadvantages— internet access is another one, now.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
