âHello, Baby... Mae meets the bump.â & âThis man is not the father of this child. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ #joeliaâ -Erika Christensen (@erikachristensen) on Instagram
I could totally see having a baby with you.
Parenthood Week - Day 2: Favorite non Braverman(s) (Spouses/ Guest Stars etc). Mark Cyr, âIâm really glad I knew youâ. I was rooting for him and Sarah so hard.
There are so many good options here. I also really liked Hank Rizzoli (except for the âfighting over Sarah with Markâ arc), and Jasmine Trussell, and Joel Graham.. aww, now I miss them :(
Itâs the first day of Parenthood Week, as organized by fuckyeahthebravermans. Yay! Todayâs prompt is âFavorite Braverman(s) by bloodâ. I obviously love all the Bravermans, but I think I will go with Julia. Tag the post about your favorite Braverman with #parenthoodweek!Â
Hey, Parenthood fandom. A lovely anon suggested a Parenthood week. And Iâm all in!
PARENTHOOD WEEK will take place from Monday August 3rd until Sunday August 9th. Below are the lists of prompts.
Day 1: Favourite Braverman(s) (by blood)
Day 2: Favourite non Braverman(s) (Spouses/ Guest Stars etc)
Day 3: Favourite romantic Relationship/OTP(s)
Day 4: Favourite non romantic Relationship/BROTP(s)
Day 5: Favourite Location(s)
Day 6: Favourite Scene(s)
Day 7: Favourite Season(s)
Anyone and everyone is free to participate! And you can make anything you want for these prompts - gifs, graphics, screencaps, videos, etc.! I will be tracking the #parenthoodweek tag so I can reblog all of your wonderful edits, so make sure you put that tag in one of the first five(!) tags of your post so everyone can see it. I also recommend using the #parenthoodedit tag as well :)
And please reblog this post to spread the word! Iâd like to see as many people participating in this as possible! But please be fair and donât repost other peopleâs gifs and edits! Thanks!
If you have any questions, my askbox is open!
âEarly on in season one, we all had a swimming scene, ⌠and at the end of a really long shooting day, our main producer-director, Larry Trilling, got on the high dive in all his clothes and jumped off into the pool. It was a very symbolic gesture that said, âIf weâre lucky enough to go seven years, this is going to be a joy-filled seven years.â From the top down, it told us that weâre all going to have a lot of fun doing this job, which has held true.â - Dax ShepardÂ
Parenthood was honored last night at the TV Land Awards. Together with creator Jason Katims, the cast accepted the Fan Favorite Award. The ceremony will air Saturday, April 18 at 9PM on TV Land, but here are some pictures to tide you over :)

Lauren Graham hosted the Late Late Show last night! Her first guest was Ray Romano, and naturally there's talk about Parenthood and their TV marriage, so check it out :)
Good things come to those who wait.. like this Parenthood panel from last June's ATX TV festival that has finally been uploaded to Youtube! The 18-minute video features Jason Katims, EP David Hudgins, Lauren Graham, Peter Krause and Ray Romano.

"I have been excited because we have been planning to end our show by shooting the final sequence in San Francisco. It would be the first time we've been able to shoot up north since the pilot. We've talked about going there for six seasons, but schedule and budget have always made it impossible. This time, we have been planning for months â saving for months, to make it possible. Unfortunately, San Francisco is about to be hit with the biggest storm in 50 years on the exact day we are supposed to be shooting there.
Our San Francisco trip is canceled. We have no location in Los Angeles yet, and we shoot in two days. Cary assures me that we will find a great baseball field to shoot the sequence. We were going to be at a beautiful park in San Francisco, with unprecedented views of Golden Gate Bridge, the wharf and the city. That night, I am emailed location photos of baseball fields. Larry, our production designer Steven Jordan and I all separately have the same first choice. We have to move fast to secure the location â so the place we will shoot the final sequence of the show is decided by photos on an email. No scout. No van rides. No scout lunch.
The morning of the shoot, I let my GPS guide me to the field. It takes me across the street from Universal Studios, where we have been shooting the show for the past six years. We went from flying the entire cast and crew to San Francisco to shooting in our backyard.
(...) We are shooting now. I sit by the monitors and watch Larry Trilling craft beautiful shots like a true artist as our cast is on the field looking happy and carefree. Since there are no words being recorded, we have a soundtrack of feel-good Braverman-esque songs playing, one after the other, and I sit back and watch and tear up and think this is perfect. This is exactly where we should be shooting this scene. This is exactly where we should all be."
Jason Katims in his guest column for The Hollywood Reporter. Must-read :)
Scott Porter on a scene that got cut from the finale: "There's a scene where they meet. [My character] Peter and his daughter are at what amounts to a Kidtown, like an indoor jungle gym playtime place. Peter has his daughter and Amber has Zeek. Zeek gets lost in the ball pit and Peter goes bravely in to save him and brings him back to Amber."

Parenthood - A Surprise Visit from Seth (Deleted Scene)
"We had this scene where Seth comes back and has a moment with his grandson, and you can tell heâs really going to try to be there for him. And in that same scene, he acknowledges Sarah getting married and moving on. It was a really nice moment, and it was painful to cut it." -Jason Katims
Parenthood (2010 - 2015) May God bless and keep you always May your wishes all come true May you always do for others And let others do for you
Writer Sarah Watson said sheâs most excited for fans to see âthe very last shotâ of the episode, adding that the writers âfigured out what the actual last image would be very early on.â And while Watson canât yet know how viewers will respond to the final episode, she says sheâs very pleased with the showâs conclusion. âAs a writer, it felt like such a gift to drive toward something and not have to feel like youâre dangling some threads and tying other ones up,â she said. âIt felt like a beautiful, perfect ending.â
Via TVLine (spoilers!). Watch the finale 10/9C, NBC.
"The first moments where I got excited about the potential of this show beyond what I thought it could be, I was in the editing room watching one of the early episodesâmaybe the second, or third, or fourthâand I remember this feeling of getting really sucked into a scene and compelled by that story and then coming to a completely different storyline in another family unit that had nothing to do with the one before it and I was like, âoh yeah, those guys! Whatâs happening with those guys?â I felt like right then I had the viewer experience of it. That was a very cool, surprising feeling, totally unexpected, but great.â
