Context for the audience laughing bit: The show she’s on is Would I Lie To You, where the contestants are given a card that has either a truth or a lie, and you have to convince the opposing team that it isn’t what it is. So if you have a lie, you have to convince them it’s the truth, and vice versa. This is the same show that had Bob Mortimer ripping an apple in half, and Lee Mack trying to convince everyone that he let a base jumper stay stuck in a tree over a stolen parking spot. So the audience listening to this story think that she’s making up a ridiculous lie, and are laughing at how preposterous it sounds. In the video, you can actually hear the horror in Rob Brydon (The host)’s voice when it dawns on him that she’s telling the truth, and he even asks “What’s the HUMOUR in that?” Watch the video and look at the faces of the other celebrities playing. Most have figured out she’s telling the truth, and they are absolutely disgusted with her. The woman on the opposing team looks like she’s going to be sick.
