my boyfriend started reading The Hobbit a week or two ago so we watched the first hobbit movie and now i need to know if anyone has made up or talked about potential Formula 1 x Lord of the Rings... I'm curious and wish to hear from others with their takes on how the Formula 1 drivers would be if they were in the LOTR universe (or if you want to assign a driver a character from the series!)

Lando’s not normal about Oscar’s chocolate scent.

"You smell weird," Lando says, scrunching his nose before he can stop himself.

They're in the post-race press conference. Oscar’s literally mid-turn, ready to answer some reporter's question about tyre deg or strategy or whatever, and Lando just blurts it out. Out loud. In front of everyone.

Oscar pauses. Blinks. One brow lifts, his head tilting slightly like he’s trying to work out whether he actually heard that.

"Uh?"

Lando clears his throat. Feels his face heat up. Oh god. Everyone’s watching. “You smell sweet? Mn, like—”

“Chocolate?” Oscar finishes for him. Calm. Smirking a little. “It’s my scent, Lando.”

“Oh,” Lando says. Blinking. Staring at him. That’s you?
