If you could get the little garden between Gralehaus and Holy Grale that would be amazing! 8Up is really spectacular and has a gorgeous party room. Seviche has a nice back room too and is centrally located. The Exchange in New Albany has a beautiful loft they use for events and great food.
awesome! thank you so much for all of the great recommendations :)
at the end of the day when i'm laying in bed, begging myself to fall asleep, that's when it hits me the hardest. my heart break has taken on a life of it's own. i miss him when i shouldn't.
love, you suck.
have you ever loved someone so much that it completely destroyed and/or consumed you? did you cut him (or her) out of your life to protect your self and rebuild one without them in it? did he (or she) come back with the swiftness after a year and break everything you rebuilt back down? seven years …
i did … & he did.
I just want the simple things
love.
yes. yes. yes.
woah.
this could not have come at a better time.
i've been having a lot of thoughts about not accomplishing much at the age of 27 in comparison to my counterparts or lack of happiness in regards to my weight, height, hair length, etc. i am being petty and need to start looking at the whole picture.
crowdsourcing.
guess who will be popping their new york cherry next month? Me :) i will be in the brooklyn/ manhattan area february 13-16th. i am not really in to the whole "touristy" thing, so any out of the ordinary recommendations of neat, but not overly crowded, non-traditional places and/or must sees are totally welcome! please advise that i will be making a stop for brunch at buttermilk channel because i am such the Beyoncé stan. ha! all suggestions welcome :)
wednesday.
extremely tired this morning. drove to Lexington last night to watch the UK v. Texas A&M game at 9pm. we got the W. did not return to Louisville until well after 1am. in bed (well on my bro's couch) by 2am. had to be at work this morning by 7:30am. one word: sleepy.
on a plus note- had dinner at bella notte prior to the game with my cousin, his lovely girlfriend (both finishing up their senior years at UK) and my BF/former college roommate, bk.
day 9 of the advocare cleanse. aside, from last night's "indulge" meal, i have done fairly well. 5 pounds down. can't wait to start the max burn phase on friday.
work is work, eh.
took last Friday off due to the snow and road conditions, currently making up time this week and next so i won't have to waste any PTO. which means early mornings and long days. i gave it a valiant effort Friday morning, i really did, but once my car started rolling back down the hill to get out of my neighborhood i knew it was a NO go.
also, my legs still feel like jello from the workout i did on Monday morning. yikes.
oh, AP owned this dunk last night. go cats!!!!!!

because everyone else did.
my three choices: sasha, yasmeen, and ibiza (well technically two are mine, i am giving one to my sister because i am nice like that). received them yesterday and can't wait to use them.
rant.
i was going to rant about the shitty Wednesday i am having (side note: it's not even noon) AND the cold ky weather AND the fact i am the only one trying to help my mom find a job AND i of all people can't handle that type of stress on top of my own stressors, but instead i'll just bury myself in my work with the possibility of hibernating as soon as i get off. sheesh, i need a drink!
oh ... but how could i forget, i am on a 24 day cleanse sans alcohol.
friday things.
hm. material things: check engine light comes on in my car (mind you, it is only a little over a year old. bought brand new.) take to dealership: need a new catalytic converter; thank lbj everything is still under warranty.
work things: coordinating a co. dinner & drinks soiree at bertucci's in herndon, va for some of our training participants located there while i am left stuck in ky craving italian (where we do not have a bertucci's) and no, i don't get to attend said event. wah.
health things: looking forward to starting the advocare 24 day cleanse this weekend.
professional growth things: updating your resume and linkedin profile is more daunting than one would think.
typical things: bought a new planner from target (happy lady).
personal life things: currently frustrated with people.
this is my handsome grandpa (+ my lovely grandma), he would have been 84 years old today. i would like to send a very special birthday wish up to him this morning and let him know how much i miss him. my life will never be the same without you in it. i love you mister. xo
