there will undoubtably be hard times in your life, but you’ll grow back, i promise :))
gentle reminder
good days will come, and when they do, all the hard days before will be worth it
She struggled with her sadness, but tried to conceal it, to divide it into smaller and smaller parts and scatter these in places she thought no one would find them.

Telling someone you have DID..
“Everyone has different selves in different situations. I completely understand!”
Hypervigilance can cause fatigue guys. PTSD can cause fatigue, anxiety and depression can cause fatigue, Bipolar can cause fatigue, any and all mental illnesses can.
Please understand if youre mentally ill and physically or emotionally fatigued, that is not you being lazy! It is your body and brain being tired of fighting your illness! You are tired because youve been fighting.
This struggle you are going through is real, please do not let yourself or anyone invalidate you further by saying youre lazy.
I think everyone needs this reminder every once in a while :/
Friendly reminders for this weekend!

She had this way of always finding the good and believing in everything despite all that she had seen. And that is what I loved the most - the pure magic of her undying hope.

You can’t love someone’s mental illness away.
#this is one of the hardest things to learn#and one of the most painful things to accept#you can’t love someone’s mental illness away#but you can love them through it and with it#and you can love them on bad days and good days and nothing days and everything days#and that’s more important really
How to Fake Confidence
1. Hold your head high, and look others in the eye
2. Smile
3. Stop apologizing
4. Relax and be quick to laugh at yourself (but not at others!)
5. Dress in a way that indicates you have self worth
6. Use good manners (like saying please and thank you) as this is actually a mark of self respect
7. Expect other people to believe in you, and to see and appreciate your good qualities.
If you live for people’s acceptance you will die from their rejection.
