I just watched the 1993 film of The Secret Garden again. It was one of my favourite movies as a kid and I still love it so so much. It adapted the book really well, albeit not particularly closely. But how ‘bout you?

It was, wasn’t it? It always helps when the author of the book writes the screenplay though. Have you read As You Wish, Cary Elwes memoir about the film? It was so much fun and had some fascinating insights to what filming it was like :)

I completely agree with authors writing the screenplay. He did a fantastic job with it. I have not read that! And I love Cary Elwes! I'm a little disappointed in myself for having not read it... Lol. But it is for sure going on my tbr list! Thank you! :-)
