THE ERA
i don't care what anyone says.
nothing (not even jackson and april) will ever top this era.
idk i think the fact that nat died saving an innocent girl isn’t nothing. like everyone saying her storyline this season was about her regaining her will to live and learning to forgive herself for surviving that first hunt but doesn’t that just make it more tragic? she died the way javi did, and she did so to prevent another innocent kid from meeting the same fate. i almost think it’s fitting, the younger natalie even said that death was where they were always supposed to be, maybe she was supposed to die in the first hunt and maybe that’s why she had to die in the last one..
Anyway I love when things are narratively unsatisfying. I love when people are characterized well and interesting and die for stupid reasons without finishing their arc. I love tragedy I love when none of it mattered I love surviving a plane crash and finally making someone see how fucked up the thing they did is and then falling off the toilet cliff with the shit bucket I love friendship ending pregnancy that results in a stillbirth I love unkillable teenage lesbians who get cancer in their forties I love surviving a plane crash but not surviving girlhood I love tragedy
Travis really gonna eat his own brother huh
I will never have anything bad to say about him ever in my life. No wonder he killed himself. Fuck. And he's never not gonna hate himself. Because he told him to go after her. To save the girl he loved. And Javi, non-verbal Javi, knew his brother so much, knew his heart, they didn't even have to speak to communicate that. All it took is a look from Travis and a nod from Javi to decide that they have to save Nat. And now his love for Nat is tainted. Everytime he remembers he loves her, he remembers he sacrificed his brother for her. Of course they were toxic for each other, of course they were on again off again, they both carry the same guilt. Javi died for them to have this, how could they throw it away, how could they keep it

“Shauna tries so hard to be a good person but sucks at it” vs “Natalie tries so hard to be an awful person but sucks at it.”
Shauna is fully capable and willing to kill and lie and cheat while maintaining this perfect apple pie illusion of a wholesome life and her family stays by her but even they’re starting to see the cracks in the veneer.
Natalie believes she destroys everything she touches, is constantly on a downward spiral of self-destruction, and hates herself for everything she did and yet she can’t even kill a goldfish on purpose and despite being openly antagonistic to everyone in the wellness center, they all seem to really like her.
FASCINATING dichotomy here.
Unprotected sex is seriously not worth the UTI
I just finished watching ‘Luckiest Girl Alive’ on Netflix and this movie has completely shattered me. In the best of ways. I have absolutely no words.
But also a giant trigger warning to anyone with trauma surrounding sexual assault/rape. Please, please, please look into the trigger warnings if you plan on watching. This movie is raw and unfiltered in the best of ways but can be triggering to some.
“My anger is like carbon monoxide. It’s odorless, tasteless, colorless, and completely toxic. But only to me. See, I don’t take my anger out on anyone other than my fucking self.”

Jane’s “if you touch her again,I will kill you again” was more romantic than the whole mileven relationship, but y’all aren’t ready for this conversation
