Oh aND ANOTHER THING!!!! Laudna has had that outfit for probably most of her 30 years of wandering. It's the outfit she was chased out of towns with. It's the outfit slit open from where Otohan shoved a sword through her chest. It's tattered and faded and it's held together by the belts she was dressed in by an evil sorceress when she was murdered and hung for nothing more than a warning sign to a woman she'd never met. And the last thing that outfit will ever see, the end of it's long and harsh life right before it's discarded and replaced with a clean slate, is a kiss from Imogen

I'm so excited for post-canon Imodna specifically in how it's gonna contrast with post-canon Beauyasha. Like after the tower date Beau and Yasha were basically acting like horny teenagers, making out during stakeouts and saying "hi babeyyy" every five seconds. I feel like Imogen and Laudna are just gonna be sitting at a booth holding hands and staring lovingly into each other's eyes and Ashton is gonna walk up and tell them he'd be less uncomfortable if they were literally fucking in the middle of the tavern

Here's the other thing is I think Imogen and Laudna are definitely trying to keep this a secret because of how fresh it is but we all saw what happened after the rock AND the ring. The second Ashton or Orym gets either of them alone for more then 4 seconds it's over

Im actually kind of happy that Delilah is back. I feel like her final killing should be more epic AND with Laudna in control, it would be really nice to have her deliver the final blow or something. (Also i love drama and i love Laudna development AND ITS JUST FUNNY THAT SHE JUST NEVER COMPLETELY DIES)

God I’m still processing everything about the imodna in this episode, but I love when Marisha and Laura raise their hands at each other after Imogen’s request, because on the one hand you’ve got Marisha like

“Are we doing this?”

And then you’ve got Laura all

“Man you think I control the Imogen??”

I just love that look of ‘I held her back as long as I could!’ because Imogen really was holding back for so long, out of fear and uncertainty, and I think a level of guilt as well. Laudna’s death could have been a big wake up call to Imogen to let Laudna know how she felt in case she lost her chance for good, but she didn’t interact one-on-one with Laudna for a long while afterwards, almost avoiding her at times. I just think that “is she your favourite” stuck with her, and a feeling of responsibility for Laudna’s death. Sure Otohan also killed Fearne and Orym, but those were more random attacks that could have been any one of the Hells. Laudna was targeted specifically, and specifically because of Imogen’s feelings for her. In her mind it was her fault.

So she’s bitten her tongue, shoved it down, and focused on their mission (and certainly had enough on her plate given how heavily it involved her and her mum).

This time though, the separation wasn’t her fault. And instead of everyone being very somber while working on a revival spell, you’ve got FCG discovering a first love, Chetney and Fearne off on their ménage a trois, and Imogen is left with nothing to do but miss Laudna, and miss Laudna, and miss Laudna.

And suddenly Laudna’s back and Imogen’s run out of excuses. She can’t hear anything from Laudna to tell her no, the guilt is gone, and she truly can’t keep it under control any longer. “Can I kiss you?”
