Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know I'm going to uploading some TimSteph art I did a while back to redbubble. I'm going to try and make T-Shirts but it's not working how I want it to. I'll post the link once I get it up! -Skyler
somebody talk to me about timsteph weddings i want a timsteph wedding
Here’s an adorable fanart that brushes on this a teensy bit :)
by Colours07
Wait, did you mean the wedding of Tim/Steph or an actual wedding that is somehow Tim/Steph themed? because I’ll talk your ear off about the former, but I don’t have much to offer on the latter :)
Oh I’ve seen that fanart! I meant the wedding of Tim and Steph. Come and talk :)
Oh good!
Well, first of all, let’s establish the premise that this is the “old” universe, where all our favorite stories are still canon. I’ve always pictured it being somewhat later in their careers when they tie the knot, approximately the relative ages of Bruce and Selina now (although Steph is older than Tim by at least a year, so I guess she’s the Bruce). The reason for this brings me to my main (well, only) reservation about Tim/Steph in general: Steph has not gotten a fair chance play the field. While Tim has been kissing as many girls as he can get his paws on, outside of her Batgirl title Steph has never been given much romance outside of Tim, which is a drag. Steph has persevered through a nightmarish childhood, an unintended teenage pregnancy, earth-shattering crises, hundreds of battles with costumed psychos (like her Dad), and enduring unspeakable tortures at the hands of a sadistic monster. She lived in Africa working with Dr. Thompkins to provide medical care for the needy for over a year, which lest we forget can be an occasionally dangerous prospect, so I’d like to think she was staying in shape by kicking deserving butts when need be. Anyway, she is way too worldly a person to get married straightaway to the first guy she’s had a long-term relationship with, even if it’s someone she’s shared so much joy and heartache with. Never mind the fact that both of them being amongst the worlds premier crime fighting family leaves little enough room for romance as it is. I think I could see them both having sort of an on-again/ off-again (will they?/ they won’t they?) kind of relationship for another 6-8 years or so, during which time Steph establishes herself as THE Batgirl, with a rogues gallery all her own, and has a few fun relationships (insert any of your second favorite Steph-ship candidates here), that eventually fizzle after a while because she realizes that as great as he/she is, they’ll never be that little nerd who picked her up for birthing classes calling himself “Alvin Draper.”
Tim, meanwhile, has been continuing being international man of mystery. In this continuity, Dick and Damian are still Gotham’s Batman and Robin, because Grant Morrison thinks they should have kept that going for a decade, and damned if I don’t agree. Tim is still Red Robin, but he serves as right hand man to Bruce Wayne-Batman, in his capacity as leader of the world-spanning Batman Inc. (as per the pre-new 52 issues of that title by Grant Morrison). Tim keeps having meaningless flings with various highly-trained and/or superpowered blondes during this time, and hating himself. It takes the frank wisdom of his big brother Dick for him to realize that what he’s been doing is trying ineffectually to fill the Steph sized-whole in his life. Shortly after this epiphany, Tim returns to Gotham to try to for would could prove to be the greatest challenge of his crime-fighting career: baring his soul to the only girl he’s ever really loved.
Tim comes through Steph’s skylight (just like in the old days, like they were still teenagers), and finally tells her all the things he’s always meant to say. Steph, after so many years of introverted, brusque, hot/cold Tim Drake (such a far cry from the sweet, cheerful, if haunted, boy she once knew), is totally bowled over by the display of affection and honesty. They rekindle their romance immediately. Bruce doesn’t object when Tim requests to be regularly paired up with Steph on missions, and for a year or two they use all the knowledge and experience they have accrued while fighting together in their Robin and Spoiler days to become two of the Bat’s most feared agents, and coordinated crime fighting duo: Batgirl and her Robin.
After a Peter Parker worthy clusterfuck, no doubt involving armed super-villains storming whatever romantic vista Tim chose for the occasion, Tim finally gets the chance to pop the question. Not how he intended it to go down, but with both of them in costume, Tim on one knee with his Red Robin hood drawn back, presents her with an engagement ring set with an irreproducible, custom grown, purple kryptonian crystal (in honor of the purple on her spoiler and batgirl costumes). Of course, she says yes.
It’s a lovely outdoor ceremony in May, held on the Wayne Estate (picture the gala from DKR). Alfred by this time would be getting on in years, so he absolutely wouldn’t be coordinating the catering. He’s family after all, and since he’s probably been a regimental chaplain at some point in addition to his myriad other careers, he presides over the ceremony. I’d like to think Bruce and Selina would have been married for a while by now (Damian only tried smarting off to his step-mom the once, and would never forget the ass kicking she dealt out with maternal smile), you can consider this in continuity with Something Old, Something New which is a bat/cat fanfic by renaroo . In any case, they would sort of take the place of the grooms parents, Bruce has to resist the temptation to put on his bat-suit and watch from the shadows like a weirdo, but he manages. Steph’s bridesmaids include Cassandra Cain (maid of honor), Barbara Gordon, Cassie Sandsmark, and Kara Zor-El. Tim’s groomsmen include Dick Grayson (best man), Conner Kent, Bart Allen, Jason Todd and Damian Wayne. Those last two have mellowed out (and grown up in Damian’s case) a lot over the last ten years, so Tim is only a little bit worried about getting a knife from behind. Gentlemen all in black tuxedos with red and yellow carnations, and ladies all in extravagant purplish bridesmaids dresses. Steph wears a strapless white gown and carries a bouquet of those roses that Wonder Woman genetically engineered as a gift for Superman in that Justice League episode based on “For the man who has everything.” (I dunno, somehow it fits, just go with it). Her father is still alive, but since she’ rather have an ulcer than that deadbeat at her wedding, Bruce walks her down the aisle. After ceremonially giving her away, he looks at Tim for a moment, and says “Hh. You’ll do what’s expected of you” and then takes his seat next to Selina.
Since there is no one within earshot that isn’t either a superhero or bat-family approved, Tim and Steph exchange vows they’ve written themselves that refer to their unusual career choices. When Alfred finally gives Tim permission to kiss the bride, the crowd erupts in raucous applause, Kara accidentally claps too hard and causes a small sonic boom, and then Misfit “bamfs” in an photo bombs a wedding picture, shouts “DAAAAAAAAAARK VENGEANCE” and then teleports away. From their seats, Dinah and Helena do the facepalm, Barbara rolls her eyes and sighs.
When the festivities wind down, they are given a joyous send off as Tim carries Steph to the can-laden wedding car. Steph takes the driver’s seat (because that’s their relationship in a nutshell to me), and they ride off to take a private Wayne Corp. jet to their exotic destination honeymoon, probably some privately owned island somewhere tropical where they can have some privacy far from the chaos and violent insanity of their everyday lives, if only for a little while. Even the thought of having to go back isn’t enough to bring them down, because they know no matter what they’ll always have each other. They say Batman and Robin will never die, but neither will their love. Neither will Batgirl and her Red Robin.
its pretty late but happy bday timbo have a steph smooch
That hormonal tension is really starting to hit Timmy pretty hard. Also he should stop creepin on people and just knock on their doors…sadly though he’s taken up the “appearing unannounced” trait from Batman.
Timmy and Steph because they’re OTP. It`s kind’a sketchy at the moment but I`m working on it.
Tim: “Morning~”
TimSteph. Under the cut for reasons.
Stephanie Brown was no stranger to the Wayne family. But that would not stop the heat from rising to her cheeks in both embarrassment and surprise when she saw the ever-so-punctual Alfred Pennyworth in the hallways of the Wayne tower penthouse.

The Gathering
Not sure how much I like the ending. Steph might be a bit OOC. I don’t feel like it’s enough Timsteph but oh well. Might write a sequel to this.
________________________
Stephanie Brown had no idea how (why) she was Chosen.
It was time for the annual Gathering, as the third Prince of Gotham reached the age to be married. Already, his older brothers have found their chosen loved one, Prince Richard with the fair Barbara Gordon of the Second Class, and Prince Jason with the shy Cassandra Cain of the Third Class.
The Gathering was a tradition for the royal family to search out and find a worthy bride from a pool of females offered up to him. The current King Bruce Wayne had found his match, the wily Selina Kyle of the Fourth Class using the Gathering, as had the king before him.
Now, it was Prince Timothy’s turn, and all the kingdom’s fair ladies in his age range have been called in to fill out a survey as well as take a picture at the local shop set up near them for the Prince and his family to judge whether or not they will be taken to the castle and participate in the activities and festivities.
There will be fifty chosen out of hundreds, although in the end, only one will remain.
Stephanie had been one of the girls who went for the survey and picture, albeit not with much hope. What prince would want a dirt poor low ranking citizen such as herself among the high and mighty not to mention beautiful girls of the upper class?
So, it was to her shock that she had been chosen, and soon she was whooshed off into the Promised Land, the castle where she had met the ever so charming Princes, and then Prince Timothy.
It was a rough few months, as girls battled it out for the Third Prince’s heart, and she stayed out of it all. Tam Fox of the First Class could have him. For she knew, herself, Stephanie Brown of Fifth Class has no chance of winning his affection.
Instead, she spent her time immersing herself in the castle library, reading up about medical treatment. There weren’t libraries like this back home, and she chose to make the most of her time learning all she could about her desired occupation.
It was unheard of a Fifth Class becoming a physician, but Stephanie was determined to become the first. Her child would not live as she had, in rags and an addicted mother. Her child will not live in poverty with out her father to support it, with out having to go out on the streets and find any job she could to support herself and her drug induced mother.
And so she studied and took notes, until one day the Prince approached her, with his own set of books, and silently read with her.
That’s how Stephanie Brown bonded with the Third Prince.
She sat at her chair reading, and watched curiously as weeks past and more and more girls were dropped, yet she stayed, until it was just her, Tam Fox, and Cassandra Sandsmark, also of First Class. Cassandra was the younger sister of one of the King’s closest friends. Tam Fox was the daughter of one of the King’s trusted advisers.
Out of the three, she was the only one whom didn’t have a connection to the royal class.
Tam Fox was favored by the public, Cassandra Sandsmark by the King’s friends, and Stephanie by the royal family themselves.
Steph hit it off with Cassandra Cain, adored learning from Barbara, and spent much time debating with Queen Selina, who had been from a lower class such as herself.
Richard and her got along splendidly, both cheerful in nature. Steph bonded quickly with Jason, the most empathetic on the lower class’ struggles. Even Damian, the youngest, most arrogant, and grouchiest of the King’s children seemed to tolerate her.
She continued to have her “dates” with Tim, although they had slowly but definitely started bonding and branching out to the more personal topics, and then Stephanie fell in love.
She adored having conversations about medicines and famous physicians with him, she loved his shy and dorky nature, and she enjoyed how thoughtful and attentive he was. He gave her the perfect gifts, not the expensive ones, and always knew how to cheer her up, cheer her on.
But the deadline was growing closer, and Steph knew her time was short. With everyone growing antsy, the Prince will have to make his decision soon. And she held no doubt in her mind that it will not be her. Tam was the best choice, regal already, and clearly can handle all the duties of a princess fittingly.
Cassandra was too rash, too impulsive, too pigheaded, too free spirited to ever sit down and be dulled by how a princess needs to be “quiet and listen to the prince”. The only reason she even made it this far was because the Prince liked her attitude.
Steph, well Steph didn’t really know much on how to act royally, how to be regal. And the prince doesn’t seem to really like her more than a friend.
So she guessed she would be seeing her mother again.
“Tim? What are you doing here?” Tim in her room. Tim standing in front of her. In the dark. Close to night. Alone. Two of them. Her room.
He locked the doors.
