So, nobody really cares, but I think this is so cool.

This year I decided to audition for our school musical for the first time, and I got in!!! I got in as Brother Jeremiah(In Something Rotten). And one of my friends in my class is Nick Bottom. And of course, we're reading A Midsummer's Night Dream in class, which is a Shakespeare play. And my friend keeps pointing out every character and reference between the two(the musical is based on Shakespeare).

And every so often, he and I will just shout MAN I HATE SHAKESPEARE!(a song in the musical).

And I told our director this, and he said he hopes my friend realizes how stupid of a character Nick bottom

I watched it late at night on a roadtrip, so it was extra ooky spooky. Also, I got the most TADC ad ever. I got shown random scenes of food with minimal music andjust random words. Turns out it was for Red Lobster, the closed restaurant

Band Saves Lives, Guys

I was slaving away moving bales of pine straw for NHS, and it was supposed to be from 8-11. We ended at 10 and I couldnt be picked up until 11:30. But luckily, I recognized a kid from band. He isn't even in my class, but we play together for MPA and concerts.

Long story short, I got a ride home and it all worked out. Thanks, band!

So, there's this kid at school, we'll call him Trumpet. And there's this girl, we'll call her B. So, I was kinda friends with B in school. Like, see her in the hall, I'd say hi, but we never really hung out much. Nothing wrong with her. Trumpet is obviously in band, and an annoying teenage boy. Anyways, they're dating, which is a long story but not the point.

ANYWAYS-

You know how sometimes you dream about someone and wake up feeling differently about them. Yeah, that happened to me with Trumpet. Except I had a dream that he died.

I was in the hallway walking with them, and I mentioned I had a dream this week about Trumpet dying. B said she did too and we held hands and jumped around and celebrated and Trumpet just looked mortified.

Blurred out his face, of course, but I can confirm. I got three and a half minutes of him playing before the bell stopped us. Funniest thing is, the teacher allowed it, and all the kids were wanting him to play.

HOOOLY STORY TIME

So, my dad and brother have been into taking walks after school lately, but I'm usually busy when they go walk around the neighborhood. The other day, I convinced them to walk at this one park with trails. Now, the trails aren't too long, but it has pretty good woods, and I LOVE just exploring in them. And, the park is pretty empty, just us and this older woman walking her little dog.

While my dad and brother are on a different trail, I'm just walking around and taking in how pretty everything is. I stand on a little part of the trail out of the way to admire a pretty bird. I hear the lady walking behind me and her little dog scurrying in the leaves, so I just pretend to be interested so I wouldn't be awkward and, like, walking right beside her. Out of nowhere,

"Hey."

I am honestly kind of scared because A, I'm antisocial, and B, I have no clue who this woman is. So I just call back a little

"Hellooo"

I keep looking at her, waiting for a response or a follow-up question. But there's nothing. She just keeps looking at me while her dog sniffs around in some leaves. So I walk away on another trail and she doesn't follow. She was acting really strange, so I just chalk it up to her maybe being mentally ill, or just older.

A few days later, I was telling this story to my mom, and she made it all make sense. She said the day before, I was at the park, a MILE from the park, some young teenage boys stabbed each other. So this poor lady probably thought she just saw some murderer teen fugitive in the woods. The poor woman was probably so scared.

I'm just happy she didn't call the cops on me.

The worst combination 😭

So I LOVE making little worlds and stories and characters to go along with them. And obviously, when making a world, you gotta represent! Not everyone is going to be super uber skinny super attractice women or super buff men, y'know? And most people have a certain type of character they lean towards making.

SO WHY CAN'T I MAKE ANY OTHER CHARACTER THAN YOUNGER TWINKS!?!?!??

Anyways- I can, but it's just not the same. My brain(also gender envy/attraction) just leans towards leaner, tall guys like Link, Sidon, Revali(Hate him but love the character design), Will Solace, Nico Di'Angelo, those kinds of characters.

Like, a story with just twinks is repetitive and boring, but all my favorite OCs are twinky dudes...

Dude.

So, there's this walking trail in the woods not too far from me, and it's really pretty! I've always been envious of people who have woods in their backyard, and this is the next best thing. I like to go off the trail and maybe go places I'm not supposed to, but it's alright. And it has treasure!!

I was going on this empty lot of land, and there is a bunch of garbage and random junk everywhere. Like, I've found so much porcelain and ceramic, deer bones(yippie!), old clothes, bottles and cans galore, a stuffed toy, and even a dog house looking thing. And a sawblade and spoon, but we ignore those.

My mom and my theory is that either teens used to go there to party and hang out, or that someone(s) lived there. So far I havent seen anyone, but it's so cool. Let me know if you care enough for a follow-up post with what I found.

So, every day since a little over a year ago, I "journal" about my day on a Google Slides. Just what happened, anything notable anyone said, what I did. I was curious, so I checked(copied into a Google Doc) how many words would be in it after 373 slides.

Istg I hate Group Projects Sometimes

So in drama, our teacher announced that we were doing a final project where we vote on group-leaders who are given a script and direct it. I wasn't going to volunteer, but seeing how the hooligans are the ones who raised their hands and were going to be my director, I did too.

This other girl and I won, and she's pretty responsible and nice. It's kind of funny, because we had to discreetly pick our groups and we were debating which hooligans each other wanted to handle.

Anyways, we were rehearsing(we're screwed and preformance is literally tomororw. My grade depends on how well they do...), and I had to confiscate stuff from my group just to get them to even behave. Let me just make a list-

Lip balm

A cough drop wrapper

A phone

A singular AirPod

An AirPod case

Another phone

4 cents(Each one was being thrown at someone)

A 3d printed fidget toy

Multiple shoes(One kid stole another's shoes, and everyone was running around on stage in the cafeteria shoeless and throwing them at each other)

Scripts they were trying to hide after we went off-script

A soccer ball??(MULTIPLE times)

A micrphone

Oh, and two kids were pantsing each other and running around stage. Wish me luck chat

My Teacher is Reading My Fanfic, idk how I got here

So in ELA, we had this project to write about (or some character we like) getting stuck in a snowglobe and trying to escape. Just a filler lesson, really. I decided to use some of my OC's! The problem is, it's only allowed to be 2 pages with double-spacing. I was jokingly whining to my teacher about how I couldn't express my characters and everything I know about them in that short story. After a little conversation, we made a deal that I could write aboutmy characters on a doc, share that with her, and she'll read the story like she already knows the characters. Joke's on her, I have a 30+ page doc with anything anybody could ever want to know about these characters. She thought it was super creative and cool as I briefly scrolled through it. I assured her she didn't have to read the whole thing, and she said, "Don't worry, I will". Soooo I'll let you know when she reads it!
