Briezerker Cosplay is the cosplay efforts of a 19 year old college girl that feels that suiting up is the best way for her to show the world - and herself - that she really is worth it. Hey followers! This here's a review of Costume Supercenter's Women's Sexy Black Widow Bustier Costume. Please bear with me, this is my first time reviewing a costume...and I'm alone, so it's a bit hard for me to take pictures of it on me! This review is before any alterations take place, and before I add boots. The wig I use in the pictures to follow might not be my final wig for this costume. The final product will be worn this coming week, and better pictures will be soon to follow.

I came into this knowing how a store-bought Black Widow costume tends to fit on my body, as my previous one was store-bought as well, though was several years ago. Seeing the image on the package, I was hopeful that this would be exactly how the costume fit on me.

Needless to say, I was a little disappointed with the fit. I chose a size Small, as I fluctuate between sizes 3 and 5 for my clothes, and generally a small from a costume company is a bit large on me. This costume was snug, and the sleeves were short, as were the legs (though that's not visible in the picture). It took me a little effort to zip the costume up the back, but I didn't pay it much mind - I'm more grateful that a formfitting costume like this had something better than Velcro closures, was all!

Included in the package were the belt and bracers seen in the image. Knowing the character's design in the comic books as well as I do (I only work in a comic book shop, after all!), I was a bit disappointed in the size of the discs on the belt included in the package. It wasn't that disappointing, though, considering it is a "sexy" costume, styled for women for Halloween.

All in all, it was a good quality costume. The two types o fabric used to create the appearance of a corset worked well together and were plenty stretchy. My absolute favorite part of the costume? You don't even have to wear a bra with it! I know, that sounds trivial, but there are padded cups that covered my girls up, regardless of the fact that the costume was a bit snug.

Overall Rating: 7/10.

Recommendable?: Yes, but I highly recommend getting it a size larger than you would usually wear. Also, I'd recommend making a different belt - which I will be posting a quick tutorial for once I get around to making my new belt!
