kids of color, you’re allowed to get a bitey when a white friend does something racist. literally 0 percent of people of color are obligated to be nice and palatable for white people. holding your tongue in the name of kindness doesn’t really do much in regards to stuff like this because white people are going to see you calling out their own racism as unkind anyways. white people, if a person of color comes off as aggressive while calling you out for racism, just fucking listen to them. they’re not coming from nowhere, and believe it or not: they know more about racism than you do! shocker, i know. just thickskin it, because it’s really not about you.

Can anyone help out a concerned mother?

My 6-year-old daughter, Sasha, painted this while I was at work today. And--before anyone asks--I N E V E R let her access any scary, violent or mature, media. The only technology she has access to is her school laptop, which the teachers monitor student usage carefully. Believe me. I've tried showing her my favorite shows from my time as a kid. She refuses to watch anything but Bluey, lol. Makes my job easier.

Moving on, I questioned my daughter on.. whatever this thing was meant to be. She reveals that it's "my friend Folly." When pressed further, the only other thing Sasha tells me is that "Folly visits me whenever I fall asleep." That's it. What am I doing wrong???? She tunes me out more the harder I press.

I get that children sometimes have imaginary friends. Normal. I get it. It's, well, just the crude nature of the imagery is all. You see it too, right? She normally paints landscapes. This is a first.

She's been distant for about a week now. My daughter is normally outgoing and extroverted. It's hard to get a sentence out of her recently. Her teachers emailed me about how she's not talking with her friends anymore. Sasha sits in the back of the classroom. I'm at a loss as to what I'm supposed to do. This affects her learning at school.

I'll admit that her father isn't around but despite that fact it never seemed to hold her back at all.

Can anyone help me? Should I take her to a psychiatrist? It's almost like something has been abusing her this past week. I have a meeting with the school coming up to discuss this more. She needs help. There's no history of mental illness in my family nor do I suffer from it. Maybe it's schizophrenia or some form of autism. Hell if I know.

Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I'd love to know if so. She's so tired all the time. I just want to see my daughter's beautiful smile again.

i cut the accessories off of a coca cola polar bear plush i already had, sewed his clothes, and made his accessories. i even sprayed perfume on him so he’d smell nice!! the scent is very comforting goshhh i love spy so much <3 💜✨

there’s a notion I’ve seen people spread that I don’t like when it comes to deltarune human designs ( I don’t think it’s wrong to see the monsters as white bc I sure do for a few of them ). but when people hc characters as black ( say specifically Noelle + berdly ) people jump to “oh! Do you think being rich and living in the suburbs + being nerdy and corny is white exclusive traits 😭 do you think being silly or geeky or dainty and soft are traits black people cant have 😭 like it really shows that people think of certain personalities as “white default” and if a black person acts that way its unrealistic .
